Deadly Premonition and NieR for me.
C'mon, guys.
Awesome. Jumping on slowmo and using a sniper rifle at the same time? How more badass this can get?
Bethesda only makes drawing papers for modders.
Their games shouldn't even approach consoles.
...We might get it by next year, if lucky.
Atelier games are all about crafting and doing side-quests, as well as funny dialog.
Well, at least Annie and Rorona are.
Mouse and keyboard are the only controls for "real" FPS "gamers".
Also, do they still use the word "noob" anymore, anyways?
I swear, these 12 years old fellas make me sick..
While I know you're trolling, it's just funny to see the comments from PS3 fanboys.
C'mon fanboys, there's always a room for improvement. And while I haven't played any Killzone game, myself (gray, life-less shooters couldn't appeal less to me), I actually have heard complains about the controls.
To all those who say "HEY NO U HAZ 2 ADAPT 2 DA CONTROLZ!!", wouldn't a smoother experience be better?
"Take a trip to DeviantArt to furries and bad, deformed shitty drawings."
Fixed from the article.
While I enjoyed the game alot, there were a few flaws on it.
There's no perfect game, being honest. Sheesh, just because I saw a few flaws on the game (I.E., not enough weapons, plot was a bad summerflick but greatly written, platforming controls sometimes didn't worked, etc.) I still enjoyed it.
Seriously, guys.
Uncharted 2 was a pretty great game, sure, but it WAS overrated.
I'm still sad because of Cry On.
After NieR, just thinking about the possibilities...it's painful.
10/10 article right there.
It's just brilliant.
What made my day is this:
"Jerome B Braithwatewatewate at the London Institute for Enhanced Synthetics (L.I.E.S) maintained in his widely acknowledged white paper “Why people on the internet won’t read any of this and go straight to the comments (1986)”
And then looked at the comments here..
I'd take your point as valid if you were talkin' about PS1/PS2 era JRPGs.
Most of the JRPGs these days don't even have the typical little town that needs savin'.
But FFVII wasn't even good.
...
I, myself, am waiting for something like Illusion of Gaia, Mother 3 or something like that.
Then again, those are games that come once every 10 years.
I liked how Skyward Sword looked, anyways.
Demon's Souls had a pretty fluid combat, and the controls were pretty great.
And the difficulty is by no means HARD if you use your head instead of thinking the game is Devil May Cry and take your time reading messages and seeing bloodstains, as well as getting ready.
Demon's Souls being easier wouldn't be Demon's Souls.
Pretty well written article. It seriously would be cool if there's a sequel on the future, they added an Arena mode.
If they haven't mentioned anything it's because of something...
Don't get me wrong, I like Demon's Souls, heck it's one of my favorite games this gen, but I'd rather have no sequel at all than a half-assed, tackled-on sequel that was only made thanks to fan pressure.
Also, on "topic" with what mightydog said, I must disagree. I wouldn't like to waggle my way through the game.
Not exactly, you can see less resolution in ground textures on Rorona, for example. Still looks pretty great, but Totori looks even better.
Hope Rorona sells enough to get Totori coming over.
Any list containing FFVII isn't worth mentioning. Happy to see Baten Kaitos there, with Lunar as well as Tales of Symphonia, and FFVI to some extent.
I'd say that, IMO, Tales of Vesperia is somewhat better than Symphonia, and Chrono Trigger isn't quite the best RPG of all time.
Also, if it's a list containing "RPGs", I'm sad to see that there's no Planescape: Torment. Also, no Shin Megami Tensei..
