… in your opinion…

But let’s also talk how burned out people are on Marvel/superheroes at this point. Literally just listened to a market report talking about how the public are getting burned out and even their movies are taking hits now.

Just more more more more more more. There’s an old expression “leave them wanting more”. Marvel has done the exact opposite. They made a great pie and people loved it. But instead of leaving it special and making it on occasion, they started making pies eve...

Meh. I’m over Nintendo at this point. If I get a handheld at some point (I prob won’t) it will I’ll be a pc based one. Switch is for kids.

I feel like im one of few people who could care less about another switch.

This game has more releases than cats have lives.

Hmmm. Good game but not GOTY material imo. That’s a pretty big slap in the face to some truly mindblowing games pushing boundaries.

Pretty burned out on marvel at this point. It’s been years of constant push; movies, games, shows. Was fun at first but now it feels like super heroes are the answer to almost everything entertainment related lately. Getting tired. I’m honestly excited for Indiana jones for the simple fact that it’s just a regular dude with no abilities, fighting other regular dudes, solving puzzles and it’s also not another remaster or uncharted (which I also love but how about a new game there)

Rest assured, those thinking physical games have a future have a lot of self reflecting to do. Even Sony is killing stock disc drives now. They’re both warming you up to the fact that discs aren’t long for this world. Even Nintendo knows that.

Spoiler alert: according to this article, the short answer is no.
Interiors look better lit, exterior objects take a hit or look blurred, artifacted. Framerates take a hit at 4k/60/raytracing

Psvr2: better frame rates but softer image and artifacts in reprojection.

Still a gen 9 mid cycle console, not next gen. Expectations should be as such. Upgrades are nice but most are small and not overtly noticeable. Not worth the price tag is the authors o...

Meh. I’m noticing a pattern from Sony. Anything that isn’t an actual PlayStation console gets mishandled and forgotten about; PS Vita was just a tragedy. PSTV? The dumbest iteration of a Vita flopped. PSVR never got to shine truly and PSVR 2 had not even achieved a fraction of what it promised. Its sales are also a mystery the fact that barely any content launches for it is a pretty good indicator. I own one. It’s been a huge letdown.

Even the way Sony is handling releases ...

Majority of ppl, myself included just aren’t interested. I bought the psvr2 thinking if anybody could make it happen it would be PlayStation. My headset now sits untouched in the closet. Haven’t put in on in almost a year now. Between the whole setup when you just wanna throw a game on, to getting nauseated on games where the camera is moving different than your head movements, to just a lack of actually compelling games.

This is exactly why ms bailed on vr. Sonys numbers h...

It’s underselling the rate of the regular ps5 by a factor of 3 based these numbers.

If you’re looking for comparisons to the ps5 sales, in 2023 the ps5 sold on average about 40,000 units a day - that’s 280,000 per week. The sales have only increased in 2024 as supply became more available.

This isn’t the huge win it sounds like. In fact, for all of the supply they claim, I expected this number to be higher, even tho I also assume only diehard ps players are gonna pony up for this - but fheees a lot of them.

As a psvr2 owner, I’ll believe it when I see it. I feel like such a sucker for being hyped into buying it right now. Haven’t even touched it for almost a year

Personally I struggle with it. It’s not that I don’t think it’s a good game, but it feels a little corny at times and I still struggle with robot animals looking too similar to their real animal counterparts. I don’t think a sophisticated ai would do that. I think it would make the most efficient, capable machines possible, in whatever form that comes in - even if it started with earth creatures as a base. You’re not bound by biology at that point and an ai would know that (for those that car...

lol. lap it up. yum yum yum. whatever they spoon feed you. next thing you know they'll say its a wild success like psvr2 and the portal which have sold a tiny fraction to the compatible ps5 base (literally 0.62% as of right now in the case of the portal and 0.75% on psvr2 - which btw I own and feel totally abandoned on)

reality is, not many people wants to spend $700 on a console that is still a gen9 ps5. even if they updated it to RDNA 3, they still couldn't use ...

So basically if you want differences you can actually see, get a pc.

If this is what you get for ps5 pro, I made the right choice to skip it. The differences in graphics you get from running performance mode on ps5 or series x seems negligible if frame rate is a concern. Resolution wise is still sub native 4k and still not bringing the texture resolution and filtering of a pc

476d ago 0 agree1 disagreeView comment

And that’s exactly why I’m not spending 700 on a ps5 pro.

700 for microscopic differences you won’t notice past 8 ft from your tv is the gist of this review.
