Sorry but I do not see Astrobot being on the same level as Mario. Mario is an IP that has been crafted over 4 decades and has spawned movies, cartoons, themed electonics and accessories, clothing, you name it. Astrobot is cute and they made a great game out of it, but I’m pretty confident that beyond the Sony diehards licking Sony’s feet and wanting Astrobot to be on that level, it’s got a really long way to go.
If you mention super Mario bros,, to your grandmother, she kno...
I find it funny, and if you ever wanted proof of the bias in coverage of Xbox consider this (and I say this as a happy owner of a switch2, series’s X and ps5); the Xbox Series S, which is still more powerful than the S2 is somehow holding back and crippling developers, yet the less powerful S2 is praised for even being able to run the same game at half the frame are and less resolution.
Makes perfect sense……
Yay…..even more Marvel content…. When I was already getting sick of the superhero glut years ago. I’m sure insomniac is making a great game, as thy are amazing, but JFC am I sick of Marvel IP at this point.
Simple, a bit old school and charming. Reminds you of why you loved video games in the first place back in the day. Not terribly hard, but def addictive fun.
Bummer. Was looking forward to it. Also bummer for all the ppl working on it. You lost your work and your job. That sucks.
I can’t take a smart tv on the f***ing plane can I? I have a ps5 and an Xbox. But I can’t take them with me, can I. What a stupid reply.
Wish you could have wallpapers, 60fps captures and Netflix. Dare to dream.

Sorry dude. Just wrong. The switch is an exception bc it’s not a normal console with normal amounts of storage. I have one. I would know. If you actually look at the sales statistics or physical sales, they are down overall 60% year over year. The game sections in stores are getting smaller and smaller. So listening to the consumer means looking at and adjusting to what they are buying, not just assuming all consumers feel the way you do. The actual data shows users are getting over physical ...
Well… as an owner of a switch 2, the thing doesn’t exactly have a ton of storage (256gb) so a huge game like CP makes sense if you don’t expand your internal - or even if you do.
Also cartridges are better than discs anyway. They’re tiny, exponentially faster, less fragile, and S2 uses virtual gamecards for transfers and loans- exactly what ms wanted to do with Xbox one, to the anger of everyone (but the double standard is revealed once more as no one has beef with Nintend...
if this was written by anybody but Xbox, considering its about Gamepass:
"Xbox is further destroying the industry offering even more ways to not sell games"
In reality - seems like a good move after the price adjustments.
I've worked at places like this. I can't explain enough the toll that type of environment takes on you personally. you're taking that bad energy home to your family.... when you get to see them that is.
More trump tariff bs. Are we great again yet? All I is inflation ticking up, the job market shrinking, prices still high and now cost increases on top of that. “BUt mY eGgS aRe eXpeNsIvE”
A) misleading
B) no shortage of players on either game
C) doesn't make either game better or worse. Just play the one you like
hopefully theres some GD stability updates for the series X. its an awesome sim, but man it crashes and chokes up like A LOT on Series X. at least in my experience.
well... normally as consoles age, the price goes down, so thanks, Trump. This has everything to do with tariffs and his asinine assumptions of how a global economy works. "bUt My EgGs aRe ExPenSivE!"
"all I'm saying is a little girl doesn't need 37 dolls. Maybe she just gets 3 or 4"
-Trump when asked about his own economical policy
Cliffy doing his best to be relevant and cool again.... sorry you Madde dumb decisions bro.
I say this as an owner of a switch 2 officially now (got it finally last week). Thats all well and good, but lots of us were saying the switch was underpowered to begin with - then labeled as haters (why would a hater buy a device they hate?).
I loved BOTW on Switch but could never escape the feeling that despite how good, it just felt.... old... graphically.
Glad to see theres an elevated experience on the new switch 2... but the point still stands - imagine if Ni...
Someday ppl will get it. Physical media is for yesterday…. Unless you want that $79 game to be $130 instead to have faster read speeds to match th internal nvme.
And optical disc drives are based on tech from the 80s. So if you want your games to be better, faster, cheaper - gonna just have to accept it at some point. - especially when you factor in physical game sales are now down 80% - driven by the convenience of digital sales, subscription services and competing digita...
