A reassuring update for the secured longevity and practicality of physical media… this update is not. Cost cost cost.
badass
I have it on series x and it’s great. The addition of sim brief direct compatibility is awesome. Programming flight route plans is waaaaay better than 2020 - especially cuz of sim brief and the new EFB. I’ll check it out on ps5 when the VR update is released.
Here’s the thing. It’s barely more powerful than an Xbox series s - the console everyone complains they can’t get anything to run on.
What’s my point? I was totally interested in buying this thing til I read the specs. Then I was disappointed and not interested. I already have a series x and a ps5 but thought this could be my simple, more affordable gateway to pc gaming - but now that I realize my existing game consoles are more powerful, I’m much less interested. So in my ...
Lmao!
Why…..
JFC - anyone who plays GTA will die of old age by the time this game gets released....
That’s awesome but that means it’s at least 5 years away
Same reason they’ve made last of us 4 or 5 times….
Looks great! Takes me back
no secret that windows is bloated. It would ironically run better on MacOS too which is also Unix based.
Regardless, it's not really an MS product. It's just branded as such. it doesn't even play true xbox games, it just plays PC games, some of which are also available for xbox. it plays the pc version tho. its basically just a PC handheld with an xbox app and branding.
would be cool if another publisher took over this IP, I don't much care much for supporting EA at this point.
they're like a Sears thats also run by the Mafia. Shaking everybody down, doing business with the Saudi murder family etc
the one thing EA delivers on better than ANYONE else, is giving me more and more reasons to not buy EA games.
Nice! I’ll pick it up for sure.
Gonna be honest though, the mouse implementation, while cool, is usually awkward in practice - at least in my personal experiences so far. I don’t really game at a desk and it’s not practical on a couch, chair, train etc. - you don’t have to use it which is nice, but makes me wonder why it’s a thing in the first place for a system that is designed to be portable. That’s why laptops have trackpads. I also worry that it will gunk up my joycon -...
the stuff with good components costs money.
seems to be the most powerful handlheld on the market. Thats gonna cost money. Some ppl like myself would rather have an option to pay more to get more (thx iPhone pro, Apple Watch Ultra, ps5 pro). I actually liked tiered launches, so I don't have to be restricted by the people who aren't willing or can't spend as much - everybody gets an option
that being said, I think the xbox branding is misleadi...
Every new shooter that comes out says the same exact thing, only to die off weeks or months later.
You let me know how AR is doing a year from now before I take any stock in the claim.
So same as everything else just about….
And they say physical media is dead….
BuT gAmEpass…..
“Lost ownership”
You never had full ownership. To literally buy a game would cost millions of dollars. Even with your cute little physical disc, you only paid for the right to license a copy of the game to play on your machine. You’re still subjected to all the licensing and restrictions. The developers can still compel you to do whatever they decide with their game because they own they actual game.
As far as pricing - this was to be expected. In the 19...
