dope. its my current ps5 fav and i played it extensively throughout the weekend. fantastic return to to form, imo - even w/ all its hilarious old school quirkiness left in tact.
better to take the time and make it right. said the same thing about halo too. id rather avoid cyberpunk scenarios where they felt the pressure to get the game launched, but then had to spend a year and all kinds of patches, tweaking it to make it as intended. halo infinite had a huge push on launch and was a better game for it. The added benefit to all this is reducing crunch for the developers too.
Lol just stop. They don’t. If anything they are the same. I have both games and have played both extensively at this point. The more important thing this that people need to stop getting so defensive. This whole tit for tat shit is so childish and irrelevant. Gran turismo 7 is a great game. Horizon 5 is a great game. They both have things that are funny and we should be able to laugh at them without getting upset. They are games. They aren’t even direct competitors with each other.
I’ve spotted that dude with his hands up. He’s in some of the stands when it’s doing it’s little in between cuts. I think he’s just a cutout cuz he doesn’t even move. Hilarious.
Great game tho. Loving it so far - even it’s old school eccentric charms that call back to the old days.
You mean like when Forza Motorsport 5 came out and everybody couldn’t let the 2D cutout bystanders go?? That was like a huge important thing on this site, Lmao.
Relax. This was meant to be funny. It’s not your family or a reflection you or your life choices. It is simply a game, and these are hilarious. It doesn’t make it any less or a game. I have it, I played it all day yesterday, had a blast and can still find this article and these photos hilarious.

im pretty confident they left the microtransactions turned off so that the pricing wouldn't affect the reviews negatively. I wonder if anyone will go back and adjust their review scores because of this (prob not cuz it seems ppl only care when ms does it).
I love the game so far, sincerely, but the pricing is not good and upgrade balance pushes you to want to buy credits. the game is already expensive and being able to afford even a tire upgrade with in-game currency is...
its easy - just get out your wallet.
i'm enjoying the game so far, but this was the red flag i raised in another comment section a while back (naturally to disagrees). The thing that concerns me - and this has nothing to do with the quality of the game which is very high, but you pay $70 for the base version of this game, then the in-game currency is structured in such a way that a lot of upgrades are very expensive(for in-game credit earnings). Sometimes things have limited availability which i assume is designed to give yo...
That’s a mouthful that title!
I bought it digital and the patch had already installed before it went live. Easy peasy.
I love it so far. It’s pretty bizarre in a lot of ways. It’s like a powerhouse game but with weird things. The first music event is kinda weird, the characters you meet are photos of what seem to be real people, but their dialog is typed out letter by letter like old 8 bit Nintendo…. The letters even make click sounds as they type out lol wtf. Feels and looks great tho. Can’t wait to di...
lol. k. i have a switch and i dont really use it. i'm not really into jrpgs or most of the big cartoony nintendo franchises, and the regular multiplatform releases feel very compromised and graphically dated when directly compared to my ps5 or series x. even zelda could have been so much more if it was running on something other than a barely xbox 360 power level.
I think a SteamDeck might be more my speed if i ever decide to buy another portable. i see the appeal of ...
i thought rumors like this werent allowed on this site. anytime i have posted speculative things, Christopher pulls them and says they are rumors.... even tho theres a tag for rumors.
I’m excited to play it too, but is everyone gonna let that big disclaimer in the review that implies a near pay to win situation slide?
That part has me seriously concerned and is a bit disappointing to what I would otherwise consider a return to form.
I purchased and am excited to play it! PS5 says 1 day 12 hours and 23 min at the time of this writing and my g29 wheel is ready.
If I’m being honest tho I’m concerned that this review states that upgrades are exceptionally high priced and some cars are only available at limited times or are “sold out”. Manageable until you read the part about microtransactions and being able to purchase in game credits for real money. That part makes it feel like a pay to win strategy whe...
me too. since the 1.5 update is dominated my gaming time, and i am on ps5 and Series X. I was really looking forward to playing HZD on ps5 but since this update hit i find myself playing cyberpunk way more. Its just more my speed. I think the look is cool, the stories are cool. the writing is good. its way more edgy and i just like the whole cyberpunk/tech vibe in general. i also like that theres a lot of variety in the gameplay and missions.
i mean - he does kinda look like santa.
personally, i feel like RDR 2 does a better job of world design. it feels near endless in scope and things you can interact with/explore. I think Rockstar are masters of this. Even GTA V has one of the most fully realized, interactive worlds out there and how old is that game now?? i mean - not only can you take a shower in your home(s) but theres a mini game to sing in the shower. the level of detail in their games is nuts.
It didn’t really improve on anything tho. If anything I feel like it got more generic. And formulaic. Bigger doesn’t always mean better. The original was better scored for its time of release. Since then the bar has been raised. It was a missed opportunity to blow ppl away - that’s called being objective.
Finally a realistic HZD score. It’s an 88 on MC right now which feels slightly high based on my experience and opinion.
can we get gameplay from someone who can actually handle a racing sim?
AC has some of the most realistic physics on the market. would be great to actually see that in action, instead of this.
