FromSoftware is crushing it.
I’m not really impressed by this game. Sorry. It’s not a bad game, but it feels just like the first one. Some stuff feels super polished, some stuff doesn’t. Graphically it looks good in some places and less good in others. I feel compared to some other games releasing recently, it feels pretty overhyped. Just my 2 cents. Every time I sit down to play it, I feel myself wanting to play something else after about 30 min or so.
Since when? Also I wouldn’t call gta parody. It’s far too cynical to be called parody and something tells me gtaVI is gonna do just fine.
this game is.... not good. it should never have been released imo.
don't buy it. if you have gamepass, download it there, but I'm confident even then you'll be uninstalling it sooner rather than later.
I think some of the reviews and user feedback is a little over the top, but regardless, its not a good game. def not worth the asking price even if its cheaper than the usual full price games.
Matters to me. I haven’t played it since shortly after it came out. Now after the patch I’m playing it again and it’s great. Runs great, good quality of life improvements, way less glitchy. I’m honestly having more fun with cyberpunk than I am w/ forbidden west if I’m being completely honest.
Overall I think the game looks good. The plants etc look especially nice. The one thing that surprises me tho, especially on ps5 is how much pop-in there is - mostly in the vegetation. Aside from that tho it’s pretty nice. To me tho the most graphically impressive game I have played on ps5 so far is still Ratchet and Clank. That game truly feels like a next gen game.

i put this game down shortly after launch as it was a bit of a mess and figured i'd wait til the native series x version was released before picking it back up. I always had a soft spot for this game even if it was broken, but still had my limits.I think the storylines are interesting, I love the future-retro setting, art direction, music, everything, so I didn't want to ruin that by playing an unfinished game.

bro. i own a series x and a ps5. i can assure you that nothing is loading twice as fast on the ps5 despite whatever you have been told. the specs show a higher rate on ps5 but there are so many factors that affect that speed, and that spec on paper exists in a vacuum without taking the rest of the architecture into account (the series X for example has a slightly slower NVME but a faster/wider bus, which means more memory bandwidth for the drive vs ps5 which has a faster nvme but less bandwid...
lol why?? they're going to sell you a regular hard drive with a picture on it and then mark it up, while selling the same regular version for a lower price... and if you're on ps5 this does little to help anything as you need to run ps5 games off of the internal NVME drive
i love my Series X, but "serviceable" feels generous on this one.
DualSense is pretty cool, imo. This is something I hope Xbox picks up as well. It would only mean a higher probability of quality implementation for all games going forward. Returnal and Ratchet+Clank also made great use of DS.
if you play both the series x video and the ps5 video on the website at the same time and watch them both together, the series x verson looks noticeably sharper.
yeah its pretty bad. im not sure why this game was even released, honestly and how Remedy was even willing to let it out the door.
i feel like reviews are becoming polarized. reviews seem to be largely either perfect/amazing or in the 6s. makes reviews feel less authentic and more team sport. on the one hand this game seems to have a high bar for quality. on the other hand it seems to be the same old open world game loop im getting pretty burned out on.
The GTA V should release the GTA VI map… and game.
