i wasn't a huuuuge Returnal fan. I like it and all but i wasn't going nuts for it like some people. I feel like this would make me like it more though. have to give a try.

How about we make new games instead of remaking the same games we were playing not very long ago. I mean… you can just load bloodbourne up on the ps5 right now if you wanna play it.
A) Studios get paid to be and are incentivized to be on gamepass... obviously. who would just give a brand new game away for free with nothing to gain. Rarely do developers pay to be on Gamepass unless they want more exposure - usually smaller indie studios... cuz its been proven by market research that Gamepass does in fact increase exposure.
B) game sales for games featured in gamepass usually increase (easy to find with a simple google search. hint: more market exposure).

meh. i think it's doing fine for what it is. I think the dialog and cinematics are a little cliche and leaning a bit on hollywood blockbuster inspired formulas that we've seen for decades it feels like to me personally, but thats just nitpicking and wishing maybe it was a bit edgier and more original - less Disney, more Matrix. i think the game is doing a fine job of moving you thru its story though, and the quality bar is high. Lone Wolves drops next month, so that will be good refresher, but hopefully w/ CA being pulled in closer that means that future content refreshes will run more consistent, shorter cycles or at least produce more content/maps etc per drop.

This is misleading for a few reasons:
1: Xbox live has double the the active users of ps plus (100m vs 48m)
2: game pass is a tier of online service from Xbox and has only been around since 2016 vs ps plus that has been around a lot longer (about the same as Xbox live). The tier of Xbox live with gamepass is at 25million - but since 2016
3: there’s no way to make an apples to apples comparison until the max tier of new ps plus goes live and starts taking o...
nonense. it was a game that fell victim to capitalism and hype. the studio was pressured to release a game that was too ambitious for the devlopment time they were given - and both of those were the results of shareholders etc that didn't want more delays. had they had a proper development schedule from the beginning, it would have launched in a better state.
