i don't blame them. I'm not exactly a huge EA fan these days, but the switch hardware is so weak comparitvely to current gen hardware its probably a nightmare to optmize for switch. its probably not even optimizing so much as making a separate switch game. its already known they couldn't upgrade to the newer engine for switch last time around.
conversely, xbox is selling more series S|X consoles because of subscriptions.
this is literally almost identical to the xbox rewards program thats been around for a while. the "campaigns" are called "quests" and the stars are called perks on xbox.

There’s 36 million consoles between series x and ps5. A game is considered to do well when it does over a million copies. Even with only ps5 users they won’t hit their ceiling and still be considered a success. It’s time to move on from last gen and let the new consoles do what they were built to do.

i installed this game last weekend purely out of curiousity. now i can't stop playing it. its so goofy, but yet so addictive.
good. more studios should follow suit.
Forza ms has been better than gran tiurismo for years now. I love gt7 but I’m confident the next Forza will continue that trend
