lol why do stories like this about the ps5 make the top of the page? this is something no one will ever notice and affects pretty much nothing other than some logistics behind the scenes and maybe the cost of production. like literally almost every product in the world goes thru production tweaks: cars, phones, computers, playstations, xboxes, switches.. you name it. but when its a playstation has a slight revision it makes the front page.... imagine if Toyota changed the fasteners to the bum...
hmm. i have it. i've been playing. i pre-ordered it assuming it was just gonna be a slam dunk. I will say that while I am not head over heels impressed with the game and do find it somewhat disappointing, i think a 4/10 review score is pretty heavy handed. to me a 4 is a game thats either broken or so bad its barely playable or both. Saints Row is neither.
Its true it has some technical problems. Its true that some things feel dated. The graphics aren't mindblowing...
F***ing hell that was a ride! Count me in.
Meh. Agree to disagree. It looks kinda boring. Some of the effects/powers look interesting but that’s about it. Graphics are average at best, framerates aren’t amazing and there’s a surprising amount of texture/LOD pop in even in this video that is distracting and shouldn’t be this bad on ps5. It also still feels empty.
Sony has some games on the way that I’m sure will be amazing and I’m absolutely looking forward to them, but nothing I’ve seen of this game so far makes me...
Looks awesome.
freaking finally. I have wanted an "elite" style PS controller for like years now. I'm on board.
bummer. i was kinda hoping this would be my GTA VI hold me over game but the reviews are bumming me out.
i dont give a F about tit for tat. The point is Sony invented the timed exclusive and it was done to keep games off of the xbox platform during windows of games that were considered critical - this is back around ps2 and into ps3. So you can literally thank sony for the concept of timed exclusives - and yes, for tit for tat purposes, im aware that all platforms do it today.
@chevalier: theres a difference between developing a game for a platform with all intentions, rights ...
even if thats true in this case, there IS proof sony paid to keep other games off of xbox in general, so....
I loved burnout a lot - I even have the remastered burnout paradise installed on both of my series x’s as we speak. That being said, the burnout developers also came out with a new game a few years back, trying to recreate the magic, and it was…. Mediocre. The mechanics were similar but the fit and finish were a long way off and it felt very “budget”. I really hope if they want to resurrect some sort of spiritual successor, they really do it right this time.
im down.
People may not know this but it’s also Sony who made timed exclusive a thing, and they did it to keep strategic key games off of Xbox long enough that people would but PlayStations. This was during the end of ps2 into ps3 era. They literally paid studios to keep their games off of Xbox and now it’s a thing they both do.
def looking forward to it - especially with gtaVI still a long way off im sure.
switch sucks. its killing it with kids and casual gamers. compared to ps5, series x and even the steam deck its a joke. not all of us are looking for every game to be mario themed cute cartoons at 720p.
you know what would actually be worthwhile? Nintendo actually making a real console like they used to way back when.
uh both were indie games done by very small teams. i would hardly call this the new normal... and if it was the new normal we are certainly revisiting MSRPs.
A) strongly disageee
B) they’re not even remotely similar to compare.
its no longer listed in the store. seems it was taken down.
this is exactly why I said MS would keep COD Multiplatform, and why they would be fools not to. I know a lot of xbox users think they'll make it a Microsoft exclusive, but that would be really dumb all around and is mostly just stupid console war stuff they wished they could stick it to Sony with... but its not and MS said as much. The exact same would be true if Sony Made Destiny a playstion exclusive (but with smaller numbers in both revenue and studio purchase price). Its already too w...
don't care about the size compared to other games. I just want whats there to be good. Space RPGs don't come around as often as others so i want it to count.
