Resident Evil 4 comes to PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC next year.
Fixed.
hmmm... not the best first impression. graphics look old. framerate looks too slow for what a Sonic game should be with this generation and the world feels empty.
now THIS is a game i am interested in.
I think I just threw up in my mouth a little bit.
I don’t think fallout5 should be that at all. If people want that, they should do a spin-off. Like how Halo Wars is a real-time strategy game, but doesn’t mess with the main line Halo games that people have expectations for and play for those reasons.
I have a ps5 and a series x so I’m all for it - but it doesn’t make a lot of financial sense from a business standpoint when there are far more users on last gen than on current gen - both due to length of time since release and supply constraints of the new consoles.
To be fair, the Quest 2 already has haptics etc as well. No adaptive triggers I guess but not completely innovative here. Still cool I suppose. Eventually I assume this will be standard for most gaming input devices.
Too bad they can’t just run native. Def one area where Xbox wins - you can either run them natively on hardware installs, disc or cloud streaming.
Seems like a long time when comparing historically to other generations
uhh.. the switch isn't exactly a powerhouse when it comes to graphics. its essentially on par with console graphics from almost 17 years ago. even when they port modern games onto the switch they still look terrible. crappy textures, low resolution, bad framerates. thats why i say the switch isn't a real console and shouldn't be considered a direct competitior to playstation and xbox. it has more in common with portables than consoles, because it is essentially a portable that bas...
People only seem to care about exclusives and think that exclusive games are the only games that matter (which is stupid).
Personally speaking, I’m really looking forward to this one. Reminds me a bit of bioshock which I loved.
allegedly there’s an article somewhere in that page of ads.
I’m not sure these people know what ASMR is. This is more like a rain sounds loop. ASMR is usually triggered by whispers or soft spoken voices or sounds like packaging or chalk or getting your hair brushed etc (I get ASMR personally).
Pretty cool looking tho.
you know... the funny thing in all this is that i have a ps5 and i honestly love it - but i don't think its so much more amazing than the series x that it justifies all the sh*t talking from other ps5 owners about xbox. just keeping it real here. it does a lot of things well and it has some great games... but thee series x actually does some things better than the ps5 believe it or not. the hyperbole on the internet really exaggerates reality.
its weird how sarcasm doesn't read on a website when nobody can get the inflection or expressions of the words being spoken cuz they're literally being read as words on a page.... you sure that sarcasm isn't just covering for the down votes?
I sincerely hope you’re not being serious… even the Xbox one didn’t do that poorly and the series x|s consoles are far more popular than Xbox one - especially with gamepass gaining popularity.
lol ok... but there was just a big story that came out recently that says games on gamepass are generating more revenue than games sold at MSRP - accessibility. There was another article talking about Trek to Yomi generating more revenue on GP vs Sony store just to validate the other story. More revenue means more investment into things like.... *drum roll* game development.
That said, I don't think Sony has the cash to compete with MS on a subscription model anyway, so...
Still being you, I see. The only person that matters on the planet and thinks is better than everyone else…
what a coincidence. I literally just bought a pulse 3D headset this weekend and the first thing I did was compare it directly with my new wireless xbox headset.
Out of the gate, the Xbox set feels more premium. The Pulse3D set actually feels a little cheap by comparison.
The Pulse3D set is also not very convenient for using buttons while wearing the headset. For starters, theres a lot of them and they all feel similar so you are gonna have to work on memo...
“The demo originally released for PlayStation 5 AND series X|S consoles…”
Fixed.
i do love my ps5 but i can't argue with any of the points being made here. It ironically is feeling old school for a new generation console - especially when compared to my Series X.
You can certainly argue that Sony got better launch games this generation so far and i won't argue that, but in general their business model, and insistence on proprietary tech, closed ecosystem and services are starting to feel dated and lagging behind the competition.
