I actually want a Vita because of this game! Criterion has been my favorite developer since the Burnout series and I would love to support them for doing such a magnificent job on the Vita. Developers could learn a thing or two from Criterion, take notes, this is how it's done!

My goodness I'm currently playing through the 360 version and will play the PS3 version next. I must say that AotA, is one of the greatest DLC I've ever played so far and feels like a true DLC rather than a cheap add-on. I'm about 3 hours in and have barley scratched the surface! Well I'll leave you to it, I'm about to dive back in and enjoy this bad boy!

Fire Emblem looks SWEET!

Oh my... Those are some decent looking android devices! Looks like handheld market might have some actual competition if properly utilized. Very nice indeed...

"Half of that 2GB WiiU RAM is reserved for the OS. So basically they have 1GB to play around with really."

@Nutsack You are correct however the Wii U has 4 separate 512MB RAM chips that are split in half at the moment. PS3 and 360 were both able to shave off RAM from the OS and I believe that the Wii U will be capable of utilizing a full 1.5gigs after some time. Initially, Nintendo will probably be the only developer to do so but will probably allow close third-part...

3DS has nothing huh!? Take a look at this Nintendo direct buddy! I'll have plenty of games in fact, too many between the Wii U and Nintendo 3Ds, and now with the announcement of Need for Speed on the Wii U, that list keeps growing and growing to the point were I need a second job! Keep telling yourself that it has nothing, whatever helps you sleep at night...

Good stuff!

Yea right! Just like the 3DS right!?!? I have now personally used my 3DS for over 900hrs and still going strong. Now that Nintendo is able to see what you play and for how long, they're able to accurately measure just who plays what on each console or handheld, and judging from the attach-rate of the 3DS I feel the the Wii U will be way more successful than the Wii was, just like the 3DS is to the DS! FYI, I am NOT a fan of Patcher and his lame views but he is entitled to his opinion...

Honestly this isn't the best news for Nintendo but, it shows me how dedicated they are in drawing in core gamers rather than making a quick buck off of us. All I know is that if Nintendo is taking a loss with the Wii U then next-gen consoles will too. My question is how much of a loss will both PS4 and 720 sell for. Nintendo can afford to start off operating in the red-zone due to the massive amounts of money they made off of the original Wii and DS, 10 billion dollars in cash alone not i...

Handheld of not approximately 60,000 every week is impressive! I do however think that the Wii U will see similar numbers in Japan...

I want to hear more titles and the OS, friends-list, achievements (if any), and online infrastructure...

I would assume it's on Miiverse but who knows with Nintendo, they're always so hush-hush with everything, which isn't always a bad thing because I do like some surprises, so long as they're good surprises!

The bad can be easily rectifiable that's the point your missing. It's great to see that the Wii U is built to maximize the second screen without compromising frame-rate.

"The Wii U version, from a visual standpoint, runs just as wonderfully as the PS3 and Xbox 360 version, shining in FIFA's trademark 60 frames per second. And, somewhat surprisingly, utilising the GamePad as a second screen does not impact on performance."
"Importantly, using the Wii U GamePad does not impact performance of the engine, even when you're streaming an exact copy of the on-screen action (you can play the game as normal on the GamePad screen, useful i...

Wii U is next-gen! Who knows what next-gen really holds other than developers and companies making them. Nobody here knows. PC has been a small window of what it might be looking at games like StarWars and BF3 running maxed out, but who actually knows what the other next-gen systems are going to bring to the table. Fan-boy's can speculate all they want, I'll wait till they announce what the PS4/Xbox have inside.

There isn't a right position and every control looks funny till it comes out. Look at GC? We all laughed but it turned out to be one of the best control designs and was praised by a lot of people. I've tried both controls now and they both feel adequately comfortable enough and light enough which is the most important part. Unless you have reversed hands or are an alien you should be fine. The gamepad and pro controller are great and are basically the same control, its just that one h...

I just came back from GameStop and had a chance to demo it out. I left completely impressed with nearly every aspect of the Wii U. As I was hogging the system from little children, curious mothers and typical gamers, a crowd formed and people were begging to get on some wait-list for the Wii U. The Gamepad was light, worked flawlessly, felt super comfortable, and better than I imagined, my only gripe was that it had digital buttons for both triggers rather than the standard analogue buttons t...
