This is indeed excellent news, I bought a PS3 because they were supposed to be the first gaming console to do native 1080p but only have a handful of PSN arcade games that do so. Now your boasting 4K when the PS3 has yet to achieve native 1080p? I highly doubt that a PS4 game will run in true native 4K resolution, especially if a game has 3D support, but hey who knows.

Shame, but at the same time I called it when I first saw it. I was actually more excited for Revelations on the 3DS and even debated with my cousin, that the 3DS version was going to be the better of the two, and it is. Reason being was that the 3DS version was mainly built around survival horror (at least the Jill sections, which was the majority of the game), and was paced quite well. When I first saw RE 6 I was seriously wondering why Capcom turned this wonderful franchise into a full blow...

No they haven't given up on Sony, they're just taking it slow, the same way that most people are in the rest of the world. Sony is claiming that the Vita has a 10 year life-cycle, then what's the hurry to run out and get the Vita? Right now the the 3DS is hot in Japan and when that starts to die down, the Vita will be there, possibly cheaper and with a vast array of games behind it. At least that's what happened with the PSP.

How many of these are there going to be? Obviously people are getting a Wii U as they are (and have been), sold out of per-orders, in the US and in Europe. Who knows what will happen after the holiday season, but as of now people are, "To Wii"!
What's so surprising about this? Did Sony think that their wonderful reputation of PS1 and PS2 was going to attract third-party to Vita? Umm... No! PS1, PS2, and PSP still have a huge install-base and developers are probably more than likely to make more money on a PSP game instead of a Vita game.
