Assassin's Creed 3 on Max Settings looks good, better than the PSWii60U... but not by a big margin, actually more like PS2 to Xbox. That is on hardware that is vastly more powerful. This is how 3rd party multiplats are going to look when the PS4 and the 720 are released. If you are expecting something more... why? If this incredibly more powerful hardware seems to only manage multiplats to that extent, what are you honestly expecting in the future? Some massive leap to avatar like visuals...

I actually no longer own a 3ds, it wasn't for me. I preferred my PSP Go which travels with my faitfully, so you can kill the fanboy card. With all the bundles for the vita and price cuts I expected more than 160k. If this is considered great, than... the vita really is doomed. One of the biggest shopping weeks of the year and it doesnt break 200k? The Wii broke 300k and that has been dead in the water for a while now. Hell even the DS did better numbers. Ive encountered no stutter with Blops 2 on multiplayer with the game streaming to two different screen at once. Not to mention it looks better than the 360 version. So far it does indeed run multiplats better, hell just being able to turn off the tv and take the game with you into other rooms is a huge plus. But to each his own
im one of those whose played two versions of Blops 2, and yes the Wii U looks better than the 360 version, and the framerate issues Ive never noticed. I've also heard about the Wii U not being good with alot of characters on screen, yet AC3 plays just fine and typically has a lot of objects and characters on screen. I look at the best looking PS3 game to date, or the best looking 360 game to date... I have yet to see a PC game that looks far and away better than say, Uncharted 3, or Grant Turismo 5, or GoW, or Halo 4. Yes there are games that look better, easilly better, but this is on euper expensive hardware and for the amount people are paying, its not justfiable. Going off of what I've seen, I'm assuming the next console from MS and Sony will not be doing much more and not be destroying Wii V...
There is another plus that people seem to be overlooking with the Wii U version... ... ... gamepad. You can either play on the TV, or turn that off, go lay down in your room and play it there as well. That to me adds a great deal. The gamepad is like a corldess house phone. Plus the game looks better, though not way better, that is other console counter parts.
Maybe its me but that washed out look only seems to pop up with these comparisons. If I hadnt played blops 2 on the 360 and Wii U myself Id hav believed it, but I did and it did not looked as washed out as the net has made it seem. These are poor comparisons but honestly, Blops 2, Batman, two games that look better on Wii U, frame rate not withstanding. As for this, they all look the same in these pics, with the Wii looking more natural albeit highly saturated.

I dont think Nintendo has anything to worry about sales wise. The WiiU is a great value and everybody I know that has seen it and gone hands on wants one. I payed 380 for the console and Blops 2 with tax included. On the Blops2 note it actually does look better on Wii U. This is coming from an avid CoD player on the 360. I own both versions is the Wii U is noticably better. And the sales thing is a gray area, he could just be talking about the US, or he could be talking about canada and mexico as well. Its easy to spin and not be wrong, its kind of a politician move
What ARE you paying for with Live? I hate that on top of a netflix sub I also need a gold membership to use it. Nintendo does it free as does Sony, and when I play CoD I dont notice a difference. I own a 360 and a WiiU, and imo the WiiU online is better with Miiverse and video chat and the best thing is is its free. I still have an Xbox live account. but its not being renewed after this month.
great browser, not without its issues as somebody pointed out with the CW thing. My wife found that one out at that exact site a few days ago. But still a great browser. Plus Miiverse is social paradise for gamers. The WiiU is worth the price of admission. Why dont people quit knocking it and just try it, or ignore it and move on
And please let us not forget about Miiverse. I swear that thing is amazing. Before I play any game I hop in there first to see what people are talking about and some damn creative artwork. lol crushes the 3ds' lineup? To each his own I guess but the 3ds has the better games imo. Not to take anything away from the Vita, I mean I love my Go cause its a PS1 in my pocket, but as far as unique gaming sessions the 3ds takes it. Its cool to hate Nintendo, its cool to like Sony. Vita is selling like crap but if you say something about it you get attacked. WiiU seems to be selling good, but if you say anything good about it you get attacked. The internet is a weird place.
I dont need to read the DF verdict, because Ive played the 360 version and WiiU version extensively, hell I own them both, or rather did, and WiiU version looks and plays better. This is from my own hands on with both games. 16 hours with the 360 version, and about 11 hours with the WiiU. Clear difference in motion
Revelations was pretty damn good, I was surprised. It was the only game I completed on my 3ds before I sold it. If they are making a version for Wii U I'd probably get it. As for RE 6... ... ... dissapointment of the year, actually not really. I wasnt expecting much and boy did it deliver as little as I was expecting. Surely Mikami couldnt have had anything to do with that disaster.
