Xenoblade was/is the most important thing to happen to the genre this generation. It united gamers in a way that no other title in recent memory ever did.

If its a worldmap and grinding you want Arc Rise Fantasia had that in spades. It had an amazing battle system and some tough as nails boss battles, enemies beyond the last boss, Ultimate weapons, all the traditions. I love that game. Monolith has indeed proven its RPG chops. For me it started with Baten Kaitos as I never got into the Xeno titles until Xenoblade. But the fact that they did indeed start a respected series like Xeno and kept it exciting over 4 generations deserves praise. Hell I hope they do another Baten Kaitos title as that game was incredible as well. Hell it was so good it made Nintendo buy them if I recall.

The biggest misconception is that there is one game that will sell a console. There isnt. Its a combination of titles. On its own Wind Waker means very little, same with Mario, zelda, whatever. this doesnt look like some quick up res cash in like what sony and MS usualy get. This looks like a complete remastering of the original game. Its more akin to a remake, something more in line with what nintendo did with fatal frame 2.

I owned the Witcher 2 on 360 and it didnt even come close to this. Hell I've watched Witcher 2 videos on Youtube running max settings on PC and they didn't look this good.
