Now I know everyone's not going to find the game to their liking but after playing the demo time and time again I don't see the complaint about the graphics, the lighting is absolutely fantastic, high-res textures and as for the drop in frame rate to 5-10 never has that happened while I've been playing the game no where near that low. Overall the demo was of a very polished game with great visuals and is shaping up nicely to be a huge hit when released.

This is shaping up to be a hell of a game. Trouble is it will probably become too addictive.

I wasn't going to try the beta and wait for the final release instead, but temptation just got the better of me. I've played about five or six hours now and I love it, graphics are quite decent, movement and responses are excellent, zero lag and people have been, for the most part, working together and communicating with each other. This is what next gen gaming is all about for me, games on a huge scale that require a bit of time and effort putting in to get the most out of. This game is goin...

Just been and re-played the demo again and it sure as hell ticks my boxes. Great graphics, great lighting, loads of on screen enemies, mad frantic action I'm sold.

For me 3D is something that will add an extra dimension to gaming, whilst motion controls don't actually provide me anything positive to the gaming experience.

A fully featured FPS played like that just wouldn't compare to using a controller as a gaming experience. How long would it be before you got tired of waving your arms about ? and what ever people think not having a controller will limit the amount of input you can have in the game. Sorry but that is not the future of gaming.

The controls are one of the things that make KZ2 great, as you said COD is easy, too easy, which is why it gets boring and unsatisfying very quickly. To get good at KZ2 you need to be good, it takes time and effort and skill, a requirement sadly lacking from MW1 & MW2.

Would anyone honestly enjoy playing games like that. I personally find motion controls lacking in the all important fun factor and I've yet to see anything that makes me believe motion controls are the future of gaming.

How it clouds the memory, Goldeneye was a great game, but better than todays highly polished technically outstanding offerings it pales into mediocrity. The sense of fun and that all important wow factor when playing Goldeneye for the first time doesn't compare to the feeling I get from todays blockbusters like Killzone 2 or even MW. Goldeneye did indeed raise the bar for console FPS's but it's best to remember it as it was, a defining moment in gaming, bringing it back to compete against tod...

I don't know why the story gets so much criticism I really enjoyed it. Anyways the game for me was a leap forward in terms of graphics and immersion for a console shooter and I think GG need congratulating for going with controls that weren't a copy of COD4's, they were spot on and a major factor in why KZ2 has so much appeal. This is a game that just gets more and more impressive the more I play and the sense of scale and intensity of battles are second to none. A truly great game and is for...

And if you seriously believe that MW2 looks (or plays, for that matter) better than Killzone 2 then I suggest a visit to the opticians, or maybe even the psychiatrist, may be in order.

Lol maybe, I know I prefered Uncharted 2 single player but Killzone 2 multi player. One things for certain though, there is something to suit everyones tastes, whatever you enjoy.

COD4's main problem, for me, was that it was so easy to pick up and play that after a few weeks it got so so boring, single player was ok but nothing special and multiplayer got teadius quite quickly due to the simplistic gameplay. I would say to you stick with Killzone 2 it has something that COD4 lacked, depth and longevity, when you get into K2 online then it really does keep you coming back for more. That said it really all depends on whether you prefer the 'arcade' style of COD or the mo...

That is precisely why K2 is such a rewarding and endearing experience, if you want to get good at Killzone 2 you gotta work at it (unlike some FPS......) and as for map sizes the maps are amongst the best designed out there, which makes every game chaotic and intense regardless of how many players battling.

Edit @ LiQuiFiedArt

Just because some one likes and enjoys something you dont does not make them a 'fanboy', you dont seem to be able to grasp the fact that what...

Controls in Killzone 2 were, for me, spot on. One thing K2 has in bucket loads is depth, it's one of the few games that the more I play the more I enjoy it, very few games have got me coming back for more like this has. I can wait till 2011 for Killzone 3 cos I'll still be playing K2 when the next chapter hits.

I sure as hell can't see it. COD4 was pretty much identical on both PS3 and 360 and I've seen nothing yet to make me think this will be any different. If you enjoy COD then either version will be great.

You either care deeply or have far too much time on your hands.

LOL...I could never fly the damn Warhawks with the six axis, infact if I'm being honest I pretty much suck at flying Warhawks, but put me in a tank or APC and I'm like a man possessed.....I know the scale of six axis usage in Killzone 2 was on a lower level to Warhawk but to have any movement of the controller effect your aim when sniping was for me a masterful and most welcome addition to the gameplay.
