The polls aren't really that hard to believe. As much as everyone on here seems to hate DLC, it is a big money maker in the real world. You think these devs are wasting their time on it and no one buys it?

With Destiny 1, the same people who had 500 hours were the ones whining all the time. So it isn't different now.

They can't maintain forward compatibility. Games that come out in 7-10 years will be too demanding to release on older systems. It isn't possible. They have to abandon old consoles at some point.

I honestly don't find it that big of a deal. All these companies have to do is take the chance out of it. Instead of paying 99 cents for a 20% chance at the item you want... they'll just make you pay $5 for that item.
Call it what you want, but you pay more for extra content in the future. Most games don't have that and $60 is standard.

I don't trust them. They're doing it temporarily to get people to buy the game. It will be back just as they said it will be.
I actually believe him when he says they hate it (probably the devs and community managers), but corporate makes the decision.

It is a beta game, so bugs are expected... but you can't say it is GOTY with it like that. Wait until this game is finalized and released, then it can become eligible and we give a final judgement.
