Microsoft killed the accidental crossplay with Fortnite (even when Spencer was publicly saying to keep it). Don't blame Sony for all of this.
Not sure reviewer realizes this is a $10 game. Seems to be expecting way too much. Many people spend tons of hours on previous versions and this is an even better version.
Mako it was Microsoft who made the developer kill the PS4 - X1 cross play. Don't blame Sony.
Sony will never require their users to have a Live account to, which is what Microsoft wants. Microsoft acts like they're open, but only under their terms.

You don't understand how exclusives generally work do you? Games don't have to sell well to be important. GT Sport is a niche title. Realistic racing isn't big like other sports games, action, FPS, etc. But they still hold a very important purpose.
You're also trying to brag that Xbox had most unit sales? Ya that took them releasing a new system which was bought mostly by their biggest fans who already owned an X1. Oh and they list lost during a new consol...

Microsoft is paying PUBG to beta test their product. Maybe it will bring them a few extra sales from people who own both consoles and don't want to wait for the PS4 version. I doubt it is going to sell any systems.
With all that said, we have no clue what they paid.... so no one can answer the question.
Not really that odd. Console games are generally way more polished and consistent on consoles.
Early access games you pay for are not usual on consoles.
If they're making you pay for it, you have a right to criticize.
I should have clarified, Sony doesn't allow companies to sell early access for money. Those are all free to play games.
All EA said was it wouldn't have a material impact on their 2018 guidance. They didn't say it doesn't affect their bottom line at all.
Clearly no one believed them either since they like immediately lost $3.1 billion in market value.
You honestly don't think it costs more to make a top of the line game now versus 10 years ago? It isn't up for debate. There are plenty of articles out their that examine development costs.

The game has been on Steam for 9 months and still is plagued with issues. Anyone thinking this will get fixed all of a sudden is out of their mind.

I think that is part of the point. Discounts and giveaways on a brand new system are signs of a problem. Just recently Microsoft said they're trying hard to restock.... which if true doesn't make sense with this promotion. If something sells out, you don't give it a discount. Especially coming from Gamestop who has been know to bundle consoles with other games (at full price) forcing you to buy extra stuff if you want the hardware.
