Microsoft didn't over hype the X?
That console was announced 18 months in advance, far more than usual and thats all they talked about for 18 months.
It was hyped way more than any console in a very long time.
Well this is pretty nice, especially since they are available at launch.
Microsoft and Sony first party games generally drop to $20-$30 after only a few months, so if you have a backlog of games... it still may be cheaper to just buy them outright especially if you like physical disks for resale.
Actually he kind of did say that 343 is evaluating the next game game, so they're kind of working on it.
@FlyingFoxy
I didn't say there wasn't an advantage to portable, but it isn't an experience like anything else. BOTW portable is the same as BOTW on the TV.
Portable = experience unlike any other? Yes, I guess playing on a small screen is unlike any other.
And who buys the games? Adults. There's no way in hell I'm going to buy $80 cardboard crap for a child.
Ram usually jumps by large factor each PS generation (3MB, 36 MB, 512MB, 8GB). It is hard to imagine that this time around, but I expect more than 16GB.
That's a bunch of bull letsa_go. The base Skylander games and base Lego Dimension game is certainly a full fledged game without buying anything extra. Lego Dimensions base game has way more content than the regular Lego games they release. So, they aren't screwing you. The extra stuff, why shouldn't you pay for it.
@Death
Every penny they spend on this is a penny they could spend on new games. Microsoft doesn't have any open checkbook for the division to waste just because the company is worth billions.
Most don't because they are Microsoft fan boys who will say these are 6 new games they will try to call exclusive.
They've known, but they just don't do it right?
They woke up because of another Fable? Sorry, but that's just an existing franchise.
They need new stuff.
Original had release date. It's a remaster of course it is going to have increased resolution and visuals... not news.

This guy didn't get invited to some event and he acts like the world is about to end.
Sony should allow this to help counter PUBG a bit.
Accessory hell is still there. Multiple controller types, SD cards, Amiibos, cardboard....
Launching with a downgraded device is still there. This was a bare bones game system.
Going against modern trends is still there. But that isn't a mistake.
So you're supposed to put this $300 device in some cardboard and let a little child dance around with it? I'm sure that damage is covered by warranty right?
Odd that he brought that up, he wasn't even asked about it.
I've already said above that there isn't anything negative you can say about this announcement.
But I will say it still won't be for everyone. If you're a disc person (like myself) it is usually for 1 of 2 reasons. Either you're a collector or you like to be able to sell your games when you're done with them.
So, this announcement doesn't really do anything for that crowd. If you wait for sales, you can end up selling games ...
