No it isn't AAA in any way. It literally had no attributes of one.
It didn't have a massive budget.
It didn't have hardly any promotion.
It wasn't expected to sell great.
It wasn't high quality.
It wasn't reviewed great.
Knack isn't a AAA title. People wanting Knack just started to be a running joke because people didn't even want to pay less than $10 for that game.
I think both offerings are lackluster this month.
I find it funny that a bunch of you think MS is going to spend $40+ billion up front and then a billion plus annually to make these games and they are all great on to be included in GamePass for $10.

Okay let's go with the the obviously false rumor. You think Microsoft is going to spend billions for a company and then continue to spend 100s of millions for EA game development.... and GamePass is still only going to cost $10? Riiiiiiiiiiiiight.

What would be the purpose of them purchasing EA if they still released on all platforms? Doesn't make sense.
Can't remember the last time I played a game more than a year or two after buying. Probably in the 90s. It isn't that big of a deal.
How can Switch sell faster but less within a particular year?

Wow Microsoft's brand new console which debuted during this holiday season, meaning there is going to be a surge of sales, sold well compared to a year old console in one specific country??? They sure showed Sony who is king.
Mystogan, it is a spin because no one ever compares the sales of specific iterations of a console generation. Also there is no definition for "premium console". Maybe one could argue the Switch is premium due to the hybrid factor or because after you buy all your extra crap it costs as much as the Pro.

So many articles spawned from Polygon's stupid anonymous source that is so full of crap.
No Man's Sky received major patches for a year after release and they delivered most of what was originally promised and more. So, while they did lie about some things, they certainly didn't just disappear.
Rumors have to come from credible sources, which wouldn't include Polygon.
Same thing really nowadays. Devs abuse the Game Preview process to make people pay for beta. A game preview is supposed to be almost consumer ready. However many companies have their games in early access/preview for years. That means it is basically a beta.
