Again that's just an opinion. Sony had it on PS2 and PS3. They removed it from PS3. PS4 is stomping X1 in sales.
It isn't required by any means. I never used it on PS2 or PS3 and I wouldn't have used it on PS4.

I thought the boat was supposed to interact with the water, but when their boat was sinking at the beginning there was absolutely no physics going on. The ship just basically fell through the water, no splashing in any way.
