Uh, no. Would have been GOTY even without Blades.

Gaming Bolt completely changed what the dev said. The dev said more hardware updates more often (like the mid-gen kind) is what causes more work. He is absolutely right about that. That has nothing to do with BC.
Seems we get these Phil Spencer + Japan article every few months. All talk as usual. No results.
I'm sorry Xbox fans, but when Microsoft says that Google and Amazon are their main competitors in gaming... wow.
Google and Amazon have done nothing. What low expectations if Stadia is a competitor.
I seriously hate gaming "news". This is just the worst of exaggeration. First of all, there was just a single person who said they were banned. So, that's just one user. That isn't "users" as the headline makes out. Secondly, there's no proof of their original post. He could have violated any of their rules. Maybe he said "Here's how you get a refund for this piece of shit game." which would get him banned.
Abraiel you have no proof. Your random examples of devs praising GamePass is just anecdotal.
You ask for examples of devs saying negative things, of course they wouldn't do that unless they got put out of business.
The question you should be asking is... why wouldn't everyone do it if it is beneficial that way?
Wow this is some big time talk. Going to redefine entertainment and reality? The last new medium? You can't get any closer to reality?
Riiiight.
Heavenly Sword was a PS3 game and not a launch game for the system either.
So their argument is Sony just had "good games" and played it safe...
Talk about downplaying the games. Sony had the best games every single year. Some of the best games of all-time.
Yes, that strategy will work. It will always work.
Shut up about the crunch. You want to work for a prestigious company, then you deal with it.
If you want a 40 hour work week, find a job somewhere else. If you're good enough to work for CDPR, you can get another job.
Fire the mods who approve this crap please. This article provides nothing new.
That's right gemmol, 14 multiplat games on there, only 4 of which are on Switch (if you're right about 4).
Uh, no you can't play it unless you buy it.
Nintendo lives and dies by their classic characters. I got a Switch last March and the only games we got so far were Mario Odyssey, both Zelda games, Rabbids, Pokémon Evee, Pokémon Shield, Luigis Mansion and Starlink (which I got for free with Amazon promo).
Look at the third party games on top 20 and how many of them aren't on Switch.
It is the perfect secondary console because of their first party. But with the lack of big name third par...
There is no "could be" when it comes to console sales. These 2 strategies are the complete opposite. Microsoft putting their own games on X1X will prevent some users from upgrading to the next gen. It gives them a reason to stay on the old gen longer.
The only thing this can be doing for Microsoft is maybe building long term good will with their customers.
Sacrifices are made when you talk about scalability.
That is the sole reason why console graphics are able to match PC graphics with a $400 system.
When you can optimize for a single configuration you can achieve more. If you try to make it support 2 configurations, you sacrifice a bit and have to put more effort. If you have to support 3 configurations, you sacrifice a bit more and so on.
Sony exclusives are always vastly superior. PS4 exclusives are vastly superior than anything X1X has to offer.
These are different scenarios and we're sorry you can't understand that.
Taking a current gen game and enhancing it for next gen... no one is saying that is bad.
But when you have a new generation of a console that is 5 to 10 times more powerful... if you try to target both gens, you will not achieve full power. That is why there should be first parry exclusives to jump start next gen, showcase the power of the system and give a real reason to b...
No doubt it was a perfect nod and awesome part of the game. But, I don't like that this article acting like this was the defining part of the game. That's not why this game won so many awards.
