It isn't subjective, but you say it is "obvious" because the GPU and CPU specs are in Series X favor. Well those aren't the only parts of a console. Many devs are saying PS5 is better due to other things. So, PS5 is more powerful in that regard if you consider all the features.
@iretrouk your overlay with the DS4 confirms everything I said about the changes they made.
Curved top = DS4 did not have this, DualSense + X1 both do
Flat bottom (area below sticks) = DS4 did not have this, DualSense + X1 both do
Less rounded sticks = DS4 handle bottoms are completed rounded, DualSense + X1 both are round on the outside and flatter on the inside
Flat circle surfaces = DS4 has this on d-pad and main buttons, DualSense + X1 do no...
The resemblance comments come from the overall shape of it. Look at the following image. If you removed all the buttons, etc, the DualSense shape looks more like the X1 shape. The curve on the top. Less rounded handles at the bottom. The bottom part below the twin sticks is flatter instead of having 2 large bumps for the sticks. They got rid of the flat circles where the d-pad and 4 main buttons are.
You cannot deny that they made it closer to Xbox One controller in t...
Phil has been in charge of games since long before X1. He is the main person to blame for their lack of first party titles. He does not have a good track record on that. They have yet to prove they can build a franchise from scratch internally. They've bought their biggest games and haven't done anything spectacular with them either.
You mean why do they lie about cancelling a pre order they never even did. This guy is an absolute tool.
Not sure what I said is funny. I'm not defending the game, I'll never play it. I just said you're jumping to conclusions about the exclusivity of the game. Maybe I missed news about that. I've never seen anything to suggest that was the case. Probably is true, but never confirmed.
Well first of all, you're jumping to conclusions. wccftech just came to their own conclusion on that because the game on a PC... which is not unusual for new generations. But it very well can come to PC as well or Xbox. No one knows at this point.
Any game developed to work on last gen is held back in new gen. This is a fact. So, yes it affects people on new gen.
@angelic
Generally third parties well release crossgen, they aren't going to ignore last gen when few have the new console.
However first party use exclusives to drive console sales. They need to give more reasons for someone to upgrade. They are less concerned with overall sales of a single game.
Wow, UC4 sold 100+ million copies?
Ya Mark Cerny totally screwed up last gen am I right?
You realize that if you want to run a legit gaming site, it is your job to fully explore these games as best you can. Writing a story based on a 2 hour window is stupid. Abusing the refund system on top of that.
Comment doesn't even make sense. It is a first gen product, so what exactly is it doubling.
Death Stranding is not first party even if they own the IP. Clearly a deal was made with Kojima for this to be on PC as well.
Simple question... Do you think a million sales of Horizon Zero Dawn on PS4 is the same as a million sales on PC?
Horizon Zero Dawn is the 1st first party game this generation. The game has already been out for 3 years. It isn't going to impact console sales. Exclusives are the most important thing to selling consoles. Sony is not going to be release their first party games on PC. That would harm their console sales.
It is much more important to them to sell consoles than it is to sell some games on PC. This isn't hard to understand.
Because there is a correlation. As a hardware company, the goal is to get the console into as many hands as possible... to then get the software/services revenue. To get the console into as many hands as possible to need to offer unique things. Exclusive games is one of those big unique things.
Does it take you all 8 months to make a decision about next gen? Good God you all think Sony is going to reveal something because of crying internet folk.
No, I'm not trolling. The game was boring and slow. There was nothing special about the story.
RDR2 story? There was one?
Right, something the article fails to point out.
