At anybody saying the PS3 is doing bad. The facts are that PS3 is near on level, if not beating 2008 total sales of 360. Even if it is losing by a bit, its still a MASSIVE win based on the fact that the 360 is much much much cheaper.
Sony are loving things right now, great games just out, great games coming in the new year and throughout 2009, launch of PlayStation community imminent, massive games and new collaboration between ps3 and PSP in 2009, all of that and still their ...
They are working on a PS3 version.
Maybe this is a price cut they will be offering for Christmas? maybe they just haven't officially announced it yet

I mean meh in all sense, graphics look utterly average, and gameplay looks even worse, the AI is non existent looks very 'hack and slash and hope we make contact with an enemy'

Graphics look below what they should be these days, and did you see the AI of the 'goons' when he first landed, they wernt even facing the right way! looks poor IMO.

In my honest opinion, this looks brilliant. very accurate and even picks up turning the remote round, if sony patent this as sony only then this could open up some awsome experiences.
I'm not referring to free ones, thats great of course, but its the ones they charge for
over hyped for me. Soooooooooooooo much driving around and wasting time, just to end up getting run over and going alllllllllll the way back. Its a real shame as I loved the game, I just couldn't stick at it
the lead will probably last for now, but in the long run [2009/2010] you'll see Sony catch up and take over worldwide, with their list of 1st party games and certain price drops the only way is up.
DLC seems to be stupid these days. I always thought DLC was about to increase the longetivity of a title, so COD for example a few months after release release some new maps etc.. but i dont get this bringing a game out and then within no time atall releasing DLC. I guess its just to make it look like your getting extra?

Yer MS your doing really well, only just ahead in Europe despite over a year head start and a console that is half the price of its main rival, and behind in Japan by alot....USA is your only 'win' so far, that'll decrease too soon....nothing to be proud of.

Yes they are doing well, but its far from over. This gen is just beginning, a long way to go before any console reaches the heights of last gens' leader at over 100million....
Its a shame they didn't all launch at the same time so its easier to study figures, but I would imagine if there is any truth in the easter price drop for sony then things will start to level out
For the people saying he must be blind if he thinks gears of war 2 has better graphics than killzone 2 etc...I believe he was referring to games that are finished and out, he wouldn't be comparing to a game thats not out yet so callllllllm down. But yer its still a bit weird as MGS4 graphics were solid (excuse the pun)
Ok so i'm seeing a new trend, in the last few previews (from sites Ive never heard of before), they are saying if your not a hardcore shooter it might not be for you....so now I'm expecting people to start down marking the game "as its too hard"...the lame reasons for knocking off points are lining up.

Agreed, Ive bought/played all GTA games, but after pre-ordering this one and playing it and promptly selling it I shall be much more cautious, probably rent it first.
