they have got to be having a laugh COD5 and R2 6/10 and mirrors edge 5/10
did they not actually PLAY the games....
so ms see a spike in sales, but year on year sales ps3 is holding its own considering the massive price difference. Hopefully Sony will drop the price in the new year and that momentum should pick up. The have the rest of the world covered they just need to crack the US.

LBP didn't arrive until late October, and this is only US. Yes MS did good to increase sales, but its not REALLY that good considering the price difference. Still, a good month for the sony BRAND, selling 519,000 units
and people are hyped for this game...why??
to sum it up, it just seems when its a 360 game, it can be much of the same and still get 9.5/10 (gears of war 2), but when its a ps3 game and does much of the same (Resist 2, motorstorm 2) and in fact improves on most things, its just 'ok' and gets penelised for doing nothing new. You only need to read the reviews to see, its true!
Pointless article imo, PS3 is still the best value out of the options above. recent blu-ray test showed the ps3 as the best performing, and one of few that works with BD-live etc...I would still pay £425 for my ps3 today if I was faced with the choice, I know where my money is and its in a solid console that i'm more than happy with.
That said, as others have said, your average consumer doesnt look at it like that.
but Sony probably wont cut the price yet, as...
all awsome animations, but there is one bit slowed down at about 3m:30s when the guy jumps over the fence bit, and it just looks so smooth and real - very good job
R2 isn't out yet in the UK, that's why it's not in the charts

They are some high quality videos! the games looks incredible. great thing is its still 3 months away, time to perfect it even more - lets just hope the beta testers are doing their job and reporting all bugs
why oh why do I keep coming back and reading these articles, its so hard to actually filter through N4G to actually find some genuine interesting gaming news. Is there any other web sites that do gaming news? (but don't get filled up with fanboy bait and you tube comparisons)

IMO Motorstorm 2, along with Resistance 2 have been soooo under rated - but if I'm honest I expected that, strangely there is a still such an anti-ps3 vibe amongst many sites

Advertising is key here, Sony need to push this big style, big city banners and tv ads - Sony are getting a bit better with Ads, but I still see more wii and 360 ones, even for multiplats
this game is amazing - I cannot understand the 8's. if you won a ps3 you MUST at least try this game, if you don't own a ps3, GET ONE!
