You want this every night after watershed, and you want this (tamed down) for the superbowl break! job done!
after watching it again
1) I actually think the AI does really well, if you had someone sprint at you with a knife what would you do? u dont have much time and from what i saw they either meleed him back, shot at him, or turned to run....problem where?
2)there was alot of stop/start video so I think it was trial and error and pasted together
3) he died after 4 minutes
ha ha ha, how desperate are they trying to knock this game.
I wander, if we tried this with ALL previous FPS games how many we could o the same thing on? some people seriously need to swallow their pride sometimes because they just look stupid.
Give me the limited edition look PS3 anyday of the week.
"And don't bother with the timeframe malarky it's still third"
It's people like you who write these stupid articles. 3rd doesn't 'just mean 3rd'
For example, matrix box set has old more on DVD than it has on Blu-ray.
Get what i'm saying, of course time-frame matters, its just the blind fanboys that don't look at it that way, because it involves too much thinking.
+ as collaboration between ps3 and psp increases it should encourage people to have both
Sony should be marketing that fact more, such as the resistance link, play tv link, its much more powerful than people realise
Ok, same old same old.
1) never heard of website posts story about 'saving' ps3
2) the PS3 DOES NOT need saving
3) the PS3 has sold MORE consoles than Xbox 360 had in the same timescale - did Xbox 360 need saving? did we see endless save 360 articles back then?
4) I agree with making KZ2 successful, and marketing it correctly but it has NOTHING to do with saving anything, just promoting it and increasing its already large user base (over 17 million)
5) foo...
It depends on what you define as a success? if succeeding is selling well after 3 years then great, if selling well after 3 years because of massive price drops is a success then yes. It depends, success might be they are making money from it, or they have SOLD a certain number of consoles, who knows. Is selling 1,000,000 consoles at $10 as much of a success as selling 500,000 consoles at $20?
ha ha, i'm just writing for the sake of it now, i'll stop
Surely its a no brainer?
Traveling to LA to see it, surely it's not a SCEE thing? why would SCEE be announcing a SCEA game?
please, am I bring thick or is this article thick...
Halo Wars will still sell despite it being a RTS, 360 owners love halo, you could wrap a turd in a Halo napkin and they'd all buy it
This is incredible, even in these late stages the polishing they have added is noticeable, these devs are awsome, really know how to work the ps3's guts.
1 problem....the player! I believe he/she is from IGN, and he is shockingly bad, I know, I'll throw a grenade and then run towards it! lets hope he is NOT reviewing the game!
They need to do a TV campaign the same style as the TV ads for Killzone 1 and Liberation, have you soon those? Awsome.
"You don't get any extra goodies in this package"
Correct me if i'm wrong, but isn't an extra wireless dual shock controller and a limited edition designed PS3 'extra goodies'...?
Despite the fact this isn't even a review, so none of us really know, I get the sense that some people on here rely too much on reviews.
Listen, you would be doing yourself A MASSIVE INJUSTICE to not buy this game just because of a review. Seriously.
WANNA GET HIGH
When they say Max out they mean Max out using todays techniques, what tends to happen is that developers learn more efficient ways of developing so what is maxed out now, will/can be completely different to what is maxed out in 2/3 years. PS2 was a good example, people though it was maxed out long ago but then they dropped the God of War bomb.
wrong jenzo, they are up 40-60% on total sales from last year.
Doesnt tempt me, the only game(s) I have enjoyed playing on my mates is Gears of War, Halo I also played but to me that was waaaay over hyped. Not worth shelling out on a 360 for one exclusive game, of which it will probably end up on PC anyway. I have more than enough games to deal with and my blu-ray player pumping out the dark knight in HD thank you very much, no need for 2 consoles here. This is, just my opinion of course, as the original question was 'is it still a must buy'
"I'm currently combing through the review, looking for complaints — the author laments the lack of a cooperative mode and calls the voice acting "very mediocre, occasionally bordering on placeholder performances masquerading as final cuts" — but having a hard time picking them out."
the first 6 words is just proof that they are looking for faults, I mean why can't they just deal with the fact it got 5/5???
as for co-op play, other games do not los...
Its quite plain to see Dread that 360 is doing so well because of its price point, its a cheap way into the 'next-gen', yes there have been some great games, gears, halo etc BUT, if the xbox was at the same price point at ps3....well you know the rest don't you.
And I do hope you decide to buy a PS3, its a beast of a machine and some seriously good games coming out in the next couple of months and this year in general no real gamer needs to miss out on these
Yes, you are missing something.
The graphics are the best seen yet on anything anywhere, the detail, the lighting, the particles, everything, its just such an achievement and it baffles me you cannot see it.
