Obviously interested in what the PS4 will be, i'd imagine multiples cell chips in one unit, but, got 7 years left in my PS3 yet so no interest in new releases for a long while and there is plenty of untapped potential to come.

This could mean that the current level the game is at is much different from what was bought to Gamescom.

And the PS3 has had no 'downfall', this gen is only a baby, it is only 3 years in and so far is the fastest selling console apart from the Ps2 and Wii....
The PS3 joker content is downloadable on the day of the game release free. The extra DLC i'd imagine will be things such as the challenge rooms (which you get if you pre-order from game for example)

They entered the current gen market 1 year earlier than Sony, that is why there is a lead. Check the figures, and see what happens if they launch at the same time.

the slim means millions more will now jump on the Sony train and enjoy some incredible exclusives this year and each here after - I'm sure this will have an impact on sales to some extent, but does it mean Sony failed this gen if it sells a few million less by the time it ends in 7 years? no.
