I have one regret after buying the Fury DLC, and that is not playing Wipeout HD more, sooner. This pack got me into it after I have had it laying dormant on my hard drive for months, amazing game, really shows off smooth 60fps HD gaming.
Your right Chrisnick, we always hear about this 'massive' gap between ps3 and 360, but it is only Sony who announce 'sold' numbers. so, do we add a couple of million to bring it to 'shipped' numbers..?? I really think the gap isn't as big as people think, and if you consider the difference in price and the 1 year head-start that's pretty impressive I say.
Did anybody really think that at this stage of dev, that that is it? they would just leave it now?
It's funny how fanboys cling onto a small piece of negative news, even if its not a finished game
Devs always try and release multi-plat games as equal as possible
Sony already have motion control with eye toy, it just didn't take off at the time and didn't have much support.
The example natal used with the guy hitting the balls, that was done years ago with various games such as kung fu etc etc....
Its just advertising, if sony can get some good games to launch with it and then do some good marketing they can grab a good share
Doesn't matter what we think.
I loved COD4 and no doubt I'll love COD6, but, deep down its just a better dressed game, unless of course there is something massively new we are missing. Despite other games getting lesser marks for no new innovation etc etc, we all know 1) this will get amazing scores and 2) it will sell millions off the back of COD4's success
Nothing against it, but sure is a shame all these games are getting delayed.
Must admit this is a great bonus for PS3 owners, adds a whole lot of extra gameplay to what looks like (in my opinion) a very good game indeed.
I think we may get more info/release date/trailer at Gamescom, GT is BIG in Europe and that show (or the equivalent in 2007) was when they announced GT5P details etc...
yet people still approve this 'news'...?
Another great example of the gaming journalism of today.
I'd imagine ratchet in November, which leaves December for......GT5 (I can hope!)
Fingers crossed for a release date at GC in August - massive package here though, cant wait.
You can get blu-rays very cheap now (UK), most online stores have massive selections for £6.99 +
love articles like this. Keep PS3 hating whilst we enjoy playing the benchmark games. Funny thing is people that hate on it are only depriving themselves. It's sad.
It's the gaming 'journalists' that have fell from grace.
translated: 360 is easier to develop for, but put the work in and you'll get more from the ps3
did I interpret that correctly?
Which ever way we look at it, there is a reason Sony upped their sales target for this year, whether its a slim, or a price cut.
I have to admit after seeing everything I have seen on the topic I'm inclined to believe it is real, and yes perhaps they are trying to break the US market by doing it with madden.
But I also agree with morgan about it affecting sales, any hint of a slim or price drop and you'd wait, I know I would
I think this is disgusting. Especially as Activision were slating PS3 for being high priced, shocking.
Interestingly, I received an email tonight from shopto.net saying to pre-order GT5 now for 25/9 release! in UK. Can't be true I'm sure, but weird its actually on an email
on topic - GT5 if you are after ultra-realism, you cannot match the detail in that game, that + le mans, rally, drag racing, nascar - can't go wrong
How strange, larger user base Vs smaller user base = wander who would get the most kills first..............seriously, desperate 'slate ps3' attempts EVERYDAY
This could be Sony's Mario Kart, easy to pick up and play and just pure fun. Plus the added bonus of massive customization and map creator
See it's when it hits mainstream media like this that the general public stop buying PS3's. If they now believe a 'cheaper, slimmer ps3' is coming who wouldn't wait?
