I played the demo yesterday - I don't get what all the hype is about - I have played the God of war demo man times and this doesn't even come close to that - maybe i'm missing something?
I'm not sure why HHG gets such a hard time. There are loads of unknown blogs, startups, wannabes posting rubbish all of this site every day. But HHG puts alot of effort into his shows, and I do actually listen to his rumours, tips, news - why not, why shouldn't he have sources and reliable info, it's almost like people just don't believe he has any sources atall?
IMO this > MW2 but a mile, I havnt played MW2 since the BETA was released, and to have a 1 level beta knock MW2 out of my PS3 says something, I just have no desire to play MW2 now with the lack of destruction, vehicles and the constant tunnel maps, its not match for me. But then what do IW care, they already sold 5m + from hype so need problem for them

No, its there to compliment blu-ray, won't get rid of physical media, digital music has been out ages and CD's are still flying off shelves.
I use itunes and buy some digital music, but i also buy CDs, and more of them as I like something tangible for my money.

you always conveniently forget that the 360 also launched 1 year earlier in some territories and even longer in others - if they launched the same time, 360 would be behind, fact.

Otherwise, how comes I can chuck a 3D version of halloween in, pop on my glasses and hey presto - without a 3D tv..?
We will never see what the PS3 really has to offer through multi-platform games - which is why it is so important for Sony to keep on bringing out exclusives - sequels and new IPs which is exactly what they are doing. Having played most of the exclusives and many multiplats the difference is clear and it's right there the PS3 shines. Putting in KZ2 after playing COD6 was crazy, it was like a generation leap - and thats only 2 years into the ps3's life at the time
I bought a PS3 at launch, I have to say though, knowing everything i know now and seeing all the games for the 360 - i'd still by a PS3

You only spawn back at base in BFBC2 if you are not part of a squad - join a squad and then you can spawn at base, or at your team mates location. putting in KZ2 after playing MW2 is like going back in time, it really makes you realise (again) how good and technically impressive the graphics are on KZ - I can't wait to see what they have in store for KZ3, can you imagine them graphics in a earth environment!

Was addicted to MW2, and now I cannot put this down, which says alot when it is a 1 level beta - so much fun and every game you play is different, not repetitive atall
I'm also in the MAG Beta, but I have to disagree with you as I prefer BF at the moment, I WANT to love mag, but it just doesn't seem as 'playable' to me, I guess you have to be more of a team and I just seem to play with people who don't do that - like medics walking straight past you and things like that - I'll prob end up buying both but at the mo its BFBC for me
everyone is entitled to an opinion, which is fine. I am just saying i own MW2, and haven't touched it since playing this BETA for BFBC, I think it is excellent, much more of a dynamic game, but I guess you like what you like - and yes, beta means it's being tested and is unfinished, so save your criticisms.
After playing the Battlefield beta I don't think i'll be buying any DLC, might prove myself wrong but I just dont think I can get back into MW2
ANOTHER add-on for the 3rd fastest selling console of all time, I see that as a great idea - not too little too late. But hey, I'm not the so called gaming journalists of today.
I think the controls are just right - I have to say raztd, I thought the graphics had quite a upgrade? more so that MW1 - MW2 for sure, and of course this is beta stage (I think the devs called it alpha alpha stage) so room for more polish.
Still one of the best FPS games Ive played
technically THE best, only BFBC2 is proving as fun at the moment - but then we have KZ3 on the horizon.....
