What I LOVE, is the fact that all these articles, several hundred comments and many a exchange of words is all because 1 or 2 retailers changed their date on their 'oh so reliable' release schedule, love it. Sony have NEVER even released a release date, yet it's delayed.

mriono.....please, do you not read the internet and see these articles all the time? Sony is quite happy, sure, it'd be happier if it had sold more but it's on target, it's selling equl to PS2 in the same time, and equal to 360 in the the same time. they are sticking with their 10 year plan and it's working well, considering the PS3 has only been out 2 yrs 2 months in the UK, some of the games it's churning out are incredible.

Not sure what your referring to regarding the trees, I never actually stop to admire the trees long enough - but sure, if you say they are 2d and that makes your game better then good on you
It looks good - but it's not up to par with GT5p graphics, let alone GT5. Stands out most for me when watching the in-car view. No denying though this does look great - good that 360 owners have a good racing franchise to enjoy

I believe all the talk of price cuts/slim are hurting sales for sure (not that I have looked). if you were looking to buy one now, would you? or would you wait?

But effectively a PS3 slim is cheaper to produce, thus in turn allowing Sony room to cut the price. So whilst the slim is not necessarily what potential PS3 owners want - it it's the way to get the price down then it's important

I paid £425 for the console only, just over 2 years ago - you can now get it for £289 with at least 1 game, most of the time 2. So already in 2 years it's come down over £150
anyhoo, I do agree, please cut the price - so then all these people waiting can buy one and join in the fantastic library PS3 has!
