You right, and i'm sure PD being PD they know more and have done alot of research into the correct deformation caused by various impacts, surely. What are all these moaners basing their crash experience on? over the top rollovers etc from other games?
I cant wait for GT5, would still be buying with no damage so this is just a bonus to me anyhow
TGS is where GT5 will be at, then we'll get some facts for sure
I have various pics of scratches, dents etc t...
I'm assuming this is a joke?
The PS3 has only been out in Europe for 2.5 years, to get a slim and a total of £200 price drop and double the hard drive in that time is pretty good going.
I actually cannot think of anything worse than sitting there, arms extended in mid-air pretending to push pedals, seriously, to me that sounds awful and not fun in any way. Gimmick, but no real use.
First they get someone who hasn't played GT games and doesn't really like GT games and prefers JRPG's top preview GT5 and now this - whats going on?!
Seriously, they could price it at £10 with 5 free games and people would want it for £5, or the games wouldn't be good enough or something.
I HATE the way COD controls so 'normal' and yet everybody feels they need to compare to it. COD isn't the way and FPS should feel, it's a shame people can't adopt to KZ2 movements and controls as that feels real, but still fun.
COD this COD that, get over it.
These ahem 'journalists' should be ashamed of their work. Simple as that.
Despite the smaller community, still the best looking FPS game I have ever played, and the most satisfying.
Hopefully when more people pick up a PS3 now the price is reduced it will bring a whole new community to the game
It is very funny how people leap on the weak spot. Fboys just find something to moan about, the list I saw on the PD website is amazing, the game is going to be truly fantastic, simple as that.
You use which bits you wish to put it down, we know your wounded.
Here we go again, we have seen 1 video and there are already articles saying it doesn't have this, doesn't have that, bla bla bla
The feature list is AMAZING, it looks incredible, GT5P sold amazingly well with no damage so to me (personally) damage is a bonus
What an absolutely rubbish article. Nothing but a fanboy rant with no clue as to the facts and nothing but blowing all statements out of proportion. No games? what year are you in? there are too many games!
as someone commented on the cnet comments: "The PS3 is the third fastest selling console in history. Only the PS2 and Wii have sold at a faster rate."
There is more evidence pointing to 2009 than 2010 for GT5
Discs are cheaper now, much cheaper.
You can get a massive selection of films from £6 (gbp) - that is cheap considering the quality and how relatively new blu-ray still is
The real thing here is, that PC have always been leagues ahead in graphics, but that gap is closing, even if only by a bit. Yer crysis on max settings etc etc will look better, but the point is the graphics the PS3 is pumping out at such an early stage in it's life cycle are fantastic and something that would only have been a dream a few years back. I don't know a great deal about PC rig prices, but what sort of PC would you need to run crysis at max? Vs a $300 console
Actually Soda, the real thing doesn't look that much different - seriously!
hmmm, it'll be interesting if ps3 (or slim) does come down to $299
360, or ps3 with free PSN and blu-ray for same price......
suddenly things change
$120 what 360 owners have to pay for a hard drive!
Second place, something the 360 will only see by launching a year earlier than the competition
Interesting how they didn't announce it at the show next week, must mean they have some even bigger ones
This could be Sonys Mario kart (or perhaps I shouldn't start that!)
Looks simple, fun and addictive with the added bonus of track creation, endless opportunities.
