I agree. Assassin's Creed should replace Uncharted 2 in the list. Uncharted 2 doesn't even make any sense being in the list since it's not an open world game. There's nothing being "drawn" in the distance, it's just a static background that you can't travel to.
That's not draw distance in Uncharted 2. It's just a static background. For it to be draw distance, you have to actually be able to travel to these far off places in the distance. There is nothing there to "draw" in Uncharted 2, aside from the linear path you will be following.
Aside from that though, this is one of the more original "Top 10" articles I have seen.
Except the difference in power between the PS2 and Xbox last gen was MUCH larger than the tiny difference in power between the 360 and PS3. 90% of multiplatform games perform equal or better on the 360, which was not the case for the "weaker" console last gen.
You are right about the PS3 and Xbox getting "bashed into high heaven" though, while the 360 and PS2 shape their generations.
Put "barely" before each of those bullet points and maybe you're right. It is the closest comparison yet for any of Rockstar's games according to this article. GTA IV and RDR were far better on the 360, while L.A. Noire is just barely better on the PS3. They said the differences wouldn't even be noticeable without direct comparisons and that you won't notice any problems on a normal playthrough of either version.
But just for the record:
Funny thing is the majority of people "upset" with the 360 lineup are PS3 fanboys. No one else cares. I already have more games I want for my 360 this year than any year prior, be they exclusives, console exclusives, Kinect, multiplatform, or Arcade games. I'll never be able to buy all of them.

The weekly sales gap between the 360 and PS3 has been shrinking every week. It was 30,000+ a few weeks ago, and now it is less than 10,000, so there is definitely some effect going on here. Japan continues to be the only reason the PS3 outsells the 360, but for now it is a virtual tie.
And there the Wii sits in a miserable sixth place, right where it belongs. Who would have thought...
The war will instantly be over once the PS3 passes the 360 by 1 unit! And at the rate the PS3 is currently outselling the 360, it could happen by as early as Summer 2015!

What do you base this on? It certainly isn't going to be the best-selling. The biggest game would be the one that the most people are anticipating. That would be Call of Duty. The biggest exclusive would be Gears of War 3.
You are warned that participating in the beta can brick your console. Microsoft does not even have to offer free replacements, but they are.
I want achievements, I want to chat with my friends while I'm playing, and I couldn't imagine using the PS3 controller, with it's terrible triggers and awkward analog stick placement, to play a game like this. I only bare through that crap when I have no other choice and the game is exclusive to the PS3, like this game was at one point.
Xbox 360 all the way for me on this one.
Almost any game will perform better after an install. But the key here is that it is OPTIONAL on the 360 and MANDATORY on the PS3.
And 360 owners only mock the PS3 for mandatory installs after PS3 fanboys make disc swapping out to be the biggest inconvenience possible, while you could swap discs one hundred times in the time it takes for one of the PS3's mandatory installs to run its course.

The actual conference will only be two hours. The other three hours is for people to get their hands on the new games and technology. 5 hours would be just plain stupid and would get boring quickly.
