Microsoft has a tremendous opportunity to upstage Sony. They already own America with the success of the 360. Argue whatever reasons that is the case, but, that IS the case. Their obstacle is XBL vs. PSN/PS+. Sony is going to be leveling the playing field in some regards and excelling in others. MS has a battle on their hands, but they are still in control.
I certainly hope so.
What needs sorted out with online play? Chat I get, but online play?
It is a little bit of a slow burn at first. Around the 6th mission (for me) and shit went into overdrive. Once you start sliding into enemies, slo-mo cap busting in exo-armor is the most fun you'll have...that day.
Vanquish is fantastic. PS+ is worth every penny.
Call it what it's going to be...Sold Out.
They're rebels!!!
I disagree. If anything, it puts a larger spotlight on the PlayStation brand during E3. Just saying "The Last of Us" and "PS4" makes me happy enough to not care.
The PS Store is not the XMB. I'm just saying the XMB doesn't SPAM me with questions like the 360's OS.
It's Windows UI design. Not one of "Better safe than sorry", but "Better have the user do all the work while i'll just ask the same question over and over."
"Touting strategic and market success when you’re just experiencing your competitor’s stumbling failure (yes, Sony, Nintendo – you are, I’m afraid, stumbling failures)." He's right. Sony and Nintendo have stumbled faaaaar more than Microsoft this gen. It's had to have had an effect.
Nothing wrong with the DualShock 3.
His opinion isn't invalid simply because ME2 wasn't a hit. Lollipop Chainsaw was a shit game. Combat was atrocious and the little humor it did have wore off 20 minutes in.
Nope. That was easy.
Brilliant game. If you own a PS3 and like RPGs, you'd be a fool to not play this.
Hope my brother and all the JP staff find homes soon. Junction Point Studios 2004-2013.
They should've done it. The series needs some fresh dev eyes.
I don't have the PS3 version, but do have the Vita version. I completely agree regarding the Vita.
Am I too late to comment on how an unfinished product looks unfinished?!
@DevilishSix
I love my PS3. I love my Vita. I don't want my console experience changed to the point of less games and more apps. Microsoft has shown me nothing I personally want with the 360 any longer (my 360 broke long ago), so it will be a hard sell for me to grab the next Xbox. As I said, PS+ and PSN are only getting stronger and better so MS is going to have to put more into showing gamers WHY they need Xbox Live. Besides playing online or use services you're al...
