My 360 is busted, so my PS3 is (and has been) my primary console. Halo 4 looks very good, but not good enough to buy a console, a Live subscription, the game and a charge and play kit. Sorry.
I've yet to play KZ3 with a DS3. The Move controls are simply spot on. I wish every FPS on the PS3 had those polished Move controls.
What do you want from Santa this year lil guy? I assume you're a child making a statement like that.
I'm buying the shit out of this game.
I'm glad I take my meds. And by meds, I'm referring to Jack Daniels.
Games and apps that's it. I have around 40+ PS+ titles (been a subscriber since day 1) and 30+ PSN games. Have a little over 600GB free.
2 issues with PS+:
1) I had to upgrade my HDD to 1TB to accommodation all my PSN games and PS+ games. First world problem, I know.
2) I have to neglect my wife and children to catch up with all the games I have b/c of PS+, but...so be it.
Very solid, value add service.
I thought it was shit. The concept is good, but the execution is flawed. Combat it wonky at best and there's simply too much "rinse & repeat".
The only Gears that disappointed me was 2. And that's where I left it. If Microsoft, who I'm currently speaking with, actually makes good on my 16 months dead 360, I may check out 3 and Judgement. Gears is a great series. Until then...wait for it to be released and played before you pass... Judgement! <sputter>Gah - bad jokes!</sputter>
I don't think R3 would have been an insta-buy on the 360. The flip side to that coin is this also happens on the 360, only not as often, because their aren't a lot (comparatively) of exclusives coming from 1st party studios. Forza isn't a massive seller. Fable isn't. Kinect games haven't been. They all just have commercials and ads to at least make people AWARE the damn games exist. The results have been doing well enough for sequels to be made.
I think marketing is the Bane to Sony's Batman. It's breaking its back by not promoting...well, anything. It's shit like this that makes me convinced Insomniac's decision to go 3rd party was in the best interest of the studio. Look at Resistance 3. One of the best, if not THE best, shooter of 2011 and Sony barely promoted it. They set good and great games up to fail. I love PlayStation and the games the 1st parties put out, that's why I'm so critical. It's great to...
Glad they're working on leaderboards and trophies. Once they are implemented, I'll bite.
No, they have to be popular. Fun games get a bad wrap for fonts, popular games have game breaking bugs overlooked.
It doesn't need saving. It needs time.
Nice! Looking forward to Payday.
I think this is the lowest score I've seen for this so far. Doesn't matter, the demo made sure I would never buy this.
That can't be right. The stories on N4G from "Random Blogs for your enjoyment" say otherwise. This...this just can't be!
Including Nintendo I'd agree. But I just don't see Microsoft bashing in the same way. Nintendo and Sony seem to catch the brunt if it. From the PS3 to Vita to the Wii to Wii U and at one time the 3DS, the 360 has slide by with its awful customer service, expensive price point for its tech, trickle of exclusives, less and less value of XBL Gold, ads overdose, Kinect kiddie/core cluster console it has evolved into .The most you get is a shitstorm when Kotaku dares to say PS+ is potentia...
I believe so, yes. The media spin/hate of the super slim, couple with less exclusives this holiday have been all the fuel needed. For some reason, the PS3 and Sony seem to be criticized for everything under the sun. Some of the criticism is warranted (poor advertising and PR, for example), but the content is being ignored. It's the personification of Sony into some baby eating monster, when they're just Maurice trying to get us to have fun with all the other monsters under our beds.
No. For better or worse, Call of Duty is.
Ahh, you added *exclusive*.
