You know an xbox fan (not a fanboy) would watch Sony's conference, see the games, take notes and go to Phil and co demanding xbox gamers get the same love games wise.
But no, their fanboys just cheer them on no matter what they do.

Funny thing is, "year of lies" should have been said about Xbox's "mic-drop" E3. I think the only thing of any merit still standing is crackdown.

If memory serves, they said it'd have to be something new as they felt Max's story was done. So they're probably going to go the final fantasy route where the next entry won't be tied to the last.
Oh I was taking "girl gamer" as a term referencing those particular ones that are just in it for attention. Not calling all female gamers "girl gamers".
Only way it would be is if MS purposefully leaked the info. They'd only do that if they had plans. But alas, we have no way of knowing that's the case.

Yeah I hear you on that. I'm usually in the same boat. I've already read the books/played the game/ read the comic etc. That original story is still there If I want it, so tell me a new story. Just keep the spirit of the books (ie don't pull a queen of the damned) and I'm good.
What I was getting at is more akin to when Batman talks and I don't hear Kevin Conroy's voice. it just feels... off.
He would have the look and definitely can command the presence.
The voice though. that's my main concern, I've read a couple of the books after playing the games and in my head what you hear in the games IS Geralt. It's so distinctive that having a different voice coming out of Geralt's mouth... Well, I'm hoping I'll be able to look pass it.
@ your edit, multiplayer has become a checkbox to a lot of casuals. they won't buy a game unless there's some kind of multiplayer. I don't mind when it's handled the way spec ops the line did it. Outsourced, so the main team can focus on what mattered, and completely tacked on, so no trophies, or single player content were tied to it and it was 100% optional. As long as MP is treated like the red headed stepchild that it is when it comes to single player focused games, the...

Exactly, they put out what they think gamers want, gamers say no, then they have to react to it. they listen when profits drop, yes, But that only shows that they have to be told what gamers want, they don't know what gamers want.
I don't get the whole Japanese developer thing in this context, I'm guessing that was addressing a separate point as having a Japanese developer on board doesn't make your company automatically know what gamers want.
Did they outright say no Halo? I thought they said no main entry for halo, ie. a halo spin off.
