Here's the thing though, would they have "listened and adjusted" if people were still buying the X1 and complaining at the same time?
This is my one remaining gripe with Microsoft on this issue. It's not that they changed course because of bad pre order numbers, I understand it's a business. No, it's that they claim they changed course because of listening to the consumers when it was so obvious that they listened to the dollars and cents.
If the re...
I don't know why but saying that he "admits" to liking no man's sky rubs me the wrong way. It's almost like it implies that he should be ashamed of liking a game from the competition. And I know Spencer, hyrb, shuhei, and a ton of others have said how much they enjoy the competition's products. Definitely not something they admit to, but rather something they are sharing their love and respect for.
Bah, I'm nit-picking now, I'll let it go.
Between he and shuhei, great time to be a fan of either console. Now if only Reggie were a little more likable...
And bauer007 did it blindfolded... without failing once. Ball's in your court pansies.
My back log of games is too big for me to spend hours on end hunting this last trophy. I had to do the same with Vanquish. So much for platinum #22, oh well. On to the next game, stick of truth, here I come.
Eh, a lot of us don't have the time to sit for hours on end to try and grab this trophy. I myself work 55 or more hours a week, got a wife and two toddlers at home, not to mention I also enjoy reading, watching some TV, and other hobbies. But all of those hobbies take a back seat to the kids.
All in all, I get about one to two hours max to myself each night. This is the last trophy I need to platinum watchdogs, and after three night of trying nothing but this, I've decide...
I've decided to not click on the articles. I agree that they do harm.
Depends on what the game is like as far as replay goes. Multiplayer does nothing for me except get me a little annoyed that to platinum a game I have to do mp.
But to your point, mass effect, dragon age, infamous, heavy rain, all these games had no multiplayer yet had tons of replay value to me. Not every game needs team death match.
Other linear games:
The last of us
Splinter cell blacklist
Resident evil
Vanquish
Spec ops the line
Halo
Gears of war
God of war
Uncharted
Super Mario brothers
Devil may cry
Etc etc
As long as it's marketed properly. The commercials and the box itself should blatantly boast about ps4 remote play, ps now, but be shown as first and formost as a streaming device. Name dropping netflix, hulu, you tube and the like. Maybe get the ign's and gamespot's out there to make an app as well.
Look dude, I'm primarily a playstation gamer, but I find comments like yours distasteful. Why do think that you get to decide other people's preferences for them? If someone prefers halo to the order, that's their opinion to have, you may have another, but I seriously doubt you insulting their choices is going to make them suddenly jump ship and buy a ps4 and disavow Xbox.
I disagree, this gen at least, nintendo's best bet is to shoot for console #2 in the household. Whether people grab a ps4 or x1, they should shoot to be the second choice. They do need third party support, but I think the key would be third party exclusives. With the wii u's specs, I doubt anyone would buy ac4 on it if they have the option of getting it on ps4 or x1.
Dang! The one remaster I actually want to happen might not.
Though CS projeck red has a reputation of being on their fans' side. Maybe if they get enough requests...
Nope. Still going to wait until the complete game comes out. "Demo" and phantom pain included. Also going to pay $60 for both. Metal gear has brought me enough joy that it gets a purchase at full price ($60), but for full price, I expect the full experience.
Well context matters for the 7 months argument. We also need to consider the size of the library for both consoles. That is, think of the number of sports titles available on the ps3 compared to the ps4. If your AAA sports game is on ps4, it will most likely sell very well since next gen sports titles are slim pickings right now. But on ps3, you're one of a multitude of sports titles.
All ps one games available on vita and ps4
They also need a new commercial or two. This first year of the ps4 is a golden opportunity to promote the vita as a great companion device.
@ random;
Pretty sure he most would consider hyrule warriors as a "Zelda game". And I think that was more what wut was referring to. Like, super mario bros, smash bros, Mario kart, Mario golf, luigi's mansion etc, those would all fall under "Mario games" for most of us.
We all love Nintendo, but when I see people essentially saying "stay the course, everyone else will come around to how we think eventually", they're effectively helping...
I honestly don't get all the negative reviews of this game. I see just a few 7's for it and that's where I personally would put it. It's no witcher or dragon age, sure, but it's nowhere near as bad as a 4.5. I played through and my biggest complaint was the voice acting. A few other negatives would be the customization options being limited for character creation, it's a bit too linear and you are limited to one companion except in a couple rare circumstances.
Blatant artificial scarcity? I'll pass.
