I'd say include a PSTV and 3 months instead of a price cut. Or better yet, just make the PS4 + pstv bundle $400 and move the regular price to $350.
if you do, try snagging bayonetta 2 as well. One of platinum games' finest.
One of my most beloved games.
Talk about going from the frying pan and into the fryer.
we're just talking about EA and I'm missing $5 from my wallet.
He's probably talking about casuals and just didn't specify. I know plenty of people that just dip their toes into other games but will play COD and Madden for months on end.
Suffice to say, if you're on a site like this, ign, gamespot or what have you, he's most likely not talking about you. More the flappy bird crowd.
You forgot point 4: Gwent.
Witcher 3 by a mile. in every conceivable way.
author's note: I have not played MGS5 yet so my opinion might be ever so slightly biased.
For the most part your "B" is correct but the combat in dogma is rare. Now that I have climbed a Cyclops and knocked off a tusk only to stab it in its eye to bring it down, hacking away at ankles in other titles seems... lesser.
Oh please. name one developer that was ruined by EA's acquisition.
Oh hi bioware.
Back when it launched, they might have had a point. Gamers don't like drm, don't like Kinect, don't like always online, don't like not being able to trade games in, etc. But Spencer righted the ship. So now, my money is on economics. Most likely it's mostly made up of people who can't afford to buy both consoles. so in order to try and convince themselves that they made the right choice, they hate on the other. From what I can see, gamers that own multiple platfo...
I kinda wish this hadn't gone the mmo route as it was my favorite new ip back when it was released. I'm not that big on multiplayer, so keeping it a single player experience would have been awesome for me. But I get it, they have to go where the money is.
Also how many of the people planning to buy Halo have already pulled the trigger on one of the awesome deals X1 has had already this year?
If I were interested in Halo and didn't already own an X1, I'd have bought one of those crazy bundles they've had this year of last and just wait on Halo.
No. If I recall, that was part of the reason why it only looked like destiny sold more on X1 around it's launch.

My vote for surprise of the year.
I expected little and got one of my favorite titles this year.
Yeah but see I think even that's a little skewed. I mean right off the bat, a PC version costs about $10 less than a console version. and even then, from what I've seen, a lot of PC gamers wait on big steam sales to pick up their titles.
I dunno, I just don't see how this comparison can be made when PC numbers are so hard to pin down. All in all, it doesn't matter, I just want PC gaming to be doing well, so well, that it keeps getting awesome titles that ho...
How do they distinguish what's being bought for gaming wand what's not? or is this total PC sales?
T'was down to until dawn and everybody's gone to the rapture for me. Sadly, haven't had a chance to play volume yet. And while I love rapture, until dawn does take this one.
Witcher? really? every commercial I saw for that game had the xbox logo plastered all over it. I guess all that money these companies spend on marketing rights don't amount to much. I remember Destiny selling better on X1 as well.
That's why I liked that idea IGN floated a while back. instead of spending lord knows how much to get DLC first, timed exclusivity or put a logo on a commercial or something like that, use that money to give your platform holders a discount on d...
Well since I already own all three consoles and my laptop just crapped out on me. I think I'm going with an alienware alpha this holiday. That way I can play some pillars of eternity and xcom 2. and replace my everyday task laptop.
