I agree; we're always complaining about "COD clones" and lack of innovation but when a different type of game comes out nobody's interested.
I think Agent could be a PS4 launch title; could explain why Sony/T2 are so coy about it.
Going where the money is; said that himself.
They didnt; but they failed on Xbox and Shenmue would have to be released on a console that at least has a presence in Japan since that's where most sales would come from. So either multi, or Sony/Nintendo exclusive.
It's only been 10 years; take your time guys!!!
Shenmue 1+2 among my best of all time; still got my DC and both games :)
A game is reviewed as it is, not as it should be in an ideal world. We can always do better but if it's better than the rest then it deserves the highest score possible.
9.9 is great; but I'm not a fan of the scale - what's the difference between that and 10?
More than 1GB VRAM! GTX 560 aint gonna cut it :(
It is a next gen console but Nintendo have shown their hand too soon. The PS4/X720 will be considerably more powerful than it so they'll just end up in a situation like the Wii currently.
I'm not going to watch this...
I'm not really into racers this gen for some reason; but for me nothing touches Gran Turismo 3 as the all time best racer.
There won't be more than 2 jets per team; waiting for jets to spawn is something we'll have to accept. It happened during the beta.
Quad SLI? Would blow away PCs; but for a £300-£400 console it's too much to ask.
There were rumours that both Sony and MS are planning to use ARM processors in their next consoles. I'm not a tech expert so why would that be so beneficial compared to other processors?
I think it's becoming clearer that E312 will see the unveiling of the next gen. Release for late 2013.
What?
Square Enix is being carried by its Western Studios.
The MARGINS may be higher but the absolute revenue which can be derived from console packaged sales exceed digital sales. This is why consoles will always be first on publishers' minds.
^
Nintendo's release schedule is a bit messed up which is why I cant see the WiiU being a runaway success like the Wii.
I agree that 1080p is here to stay so by the time WiiU gains traction Sony/MS will release their consoles capable of 1080p @ 60fps with more textures/detail than WiiU. Also we know those two buy exclusives so they have a fixed supply of IPs ready for their systems.
Actually the last time Tretton was asked about Agent was after E3 where he simply said "Ask TakeTwo"; and TakeTwo just said it's still in development and can't say much else.
