Only a R* logo could cause this much excitement. Agent is still talked about even though it's only a logo.
You know when you mentioned that it made me look closer and I noticed on the GTA "V" the inside part looks like a spade from a playing card; you may not be too far from the truth.
It's too close to be coincidence; but there's probably more to it than the obvious conclusion. This is R* after all.
BF and MoH will alternate so 2012 is MoH2; then BFBC3 in 2013; MoH3 in 2014; and BF4 in 2015 and so on. Essentially three franchises that are really just the same game underneath.
GTA really is a show stopper; it's already taken over the Internet.

Actually you're thing of GT. Exclusives don't tend to do these types of numbers. Also UC2 has 5m in its lifetime.

I think you're right - reviewers give some games/series a much easier time than others. Zelda always gets high scores. Likewise CoD seems to be a favourite. Gamereactor gave BF3 an 8.5 today with an 8 in "Graphics"...it gave Black Ops a 9 in graphics.
If any game was as nitpicked as GT5 most games wouldnt come close to a 9 or 10.
As a uni graduate looking for a job maybe I should apply to Wedbush; they seem to employ people who are good at pointing out the obvious.

Considering how MS say the future is digital it'd be interesting to see if they have the guts to go digital only with the X720. They've already dismissed Bluray as an option so I don't think they will backtrack.

UC2 and 3 are great graphics on console but PC games are far more impressive when the dev actually bothers.

Maybe because consoles are static tech that were released 6 years ago whereas PC tech changes every 6 months?
Consoles will never be like PCs; they're dedicated gaming devices released infrequently. They rely on the quality of games to sell which is why the best games are mostly on consoles.
They should just delay it until next gen. Also D4 could turn out to be a good game if Carmack shuts his mouth and gets on with developing.
I really hope Sony/MS take advantage of the 22nm CPU/28nm GPU transition. Get some of that new tech in there!!!
Sony has learned the hard way how important a strong launch line up is. I suspect they will have their top IPs (Uncharted, GT, GoW) being developed for the PS4 launch.
