I was thinking the same thing. I remember saying this in another article: PC gamers' main criticism of consoles is that they're not PCs.
Also I'd like to see this guy design a console and see if he still keep it within mass market price. I'm pretty sure Sony/MS/Nintendo would know more than him in this area.

Lol. This is why I consider the term "PC gamer" a contradiction. A lot of Pc gamers arent gamers at all - they're graphics whores. They look down on consoles because they cant play 1080p, 60fps+ in every game. If you were a true gamer things like that wouldnt matter - you'd play the game for what it is. I play games on all platforms so I'm a "gamer" in the proper sense.

That depends on the individual. For example downloading games on Steam isnt an option for me since my broadband is SO slow - took 4hrs to download MW2 map pack :(
And also a PC does need upgrading at some point. Upgrading console vs PC, i think console wins since it comes as a system. For PC it's Gpu, CPU, OS, Ram, etc. But I think if you're a gamer you should play over all platforms ...

TAke2 take far too long to get games out. They announce them three years before they're due for release and the game still gets delayed.
