I think this is a more a demo than a beta; it ends within two weeks of BF3 being released. There will be some some improvements (like bugs/glitches) but not a major overhaul; IMO what we're seeing now will be what we'll see on Oct 25th.
Also article is fail; to run game on ultra requires a gtx 580; that alone costs more than a PS3.
I agree. I've always liked IW's COD games. People on this site hate on COD, but MW was amazing and MW2 was flawed but still really enjoyable (and I still play it). I like the fact that it doesnt take itself too seriously; DICE tried to do that with destruction, vehicles but they've failed on console.

That doesnt change the fact that console players are being ripped off.
TBH console players shouldn't really buy the game at all - and I'm being serious. EA and DICE have messed up; they are charging MORE for a LESSER game. We know the PC version is better so why is the console version more costly. EA should cut their share of the price and lower it.

Nvidia should stop talking about consoles and release Kepler already. They're not going to convert the mass of console players to PC by boasting how powerful GPUs are.
By next gen MS/Sony will have their own cloud services so Onlive will become irrelevant, especially if it cant offer exclusives. Just look at Origin - EA has BF3 to force it onto gamers.
Also my net is far too slow for cloud/streaming services. It takes hours to download DLC like MW maps.

That's totally incorrect; most PC games are multi but consoles have many exclusives not on PC; this year alone there's Gears 3 and UC3. If you're a gamer you need consoles (as well as a decent PC).
