I deleted it yesterday, after going to my Steam Library 'n seeing a queued update. I clicked 'News' before installing, 'n saw the uproar about the capcom.sys rootkit that Capcom installs into your system32 folder. I know they're pushing the rollback for it, but only because people noticed it and went crazy. Otherwise they'd have left it on our systems. To hell with Crapcom, done with them.
It's always nice to 'want'.
Yeah, I love Berserk, had the Dreamcast game in 2000. I've seen all the anime, including the 2016 continuation that just finished it's season. I finally read the manga up to it's current volume a few months ago, and I'm waiting for the next volume that releases hopefully in a few days.
I might pirate this, just to see how they deliver the story, and if they get most the dialogue in there, because I rather the game gfx than the recent anime. They got so many ...
Such a waste making this a musou. Just look at the AI of the enemies, they just run up, then stand there waiting to die. Why in the world Team Ninja wasn't in charge of this I just can't understand. You literally never see an enemy even attempt at attacking the main character, no matter how many are on screen.
I only saw the troll boss attack in a vid, and it was still horrible AI. It takes all the fun out the game, I'd think musous would have evolved enough by ...
Great game.
Well if you're gonna use a 3rd party driver app, what's the point of getting this overpriced dongle? You can get a dongle for half the price and use DS4Windows or ScpToolkit and run everything fine as an xinput controller. You don't need either of those if you just use the controller as a wireless controller in dinput mode with a regular bluetooth dongle, 'n use xpadder or joytokey for mapping buttons.
@Errorist76
Yeah, I'm not against it. There is a controller on Amazon called Gamesir G3s though, that is only $30 and can do bluetooth/wireless/wired 'n comes with a wireless dongle. It also works on PS3/PC/Android and can do xinput and dinput. The battery life wireless is also 18 hours, like 3x the DS4 battery life. I've been thinking of getting one, but I have 2 DS4's already.
LOL, they took too long. I was using the DS4 on PC day 1, as a regular wireless controller with my bluetooth dongle. Now I use something called ScpToolkit that installs drivers for DS3 and DS4 so they get recognized as xinput, and also work through my regular bluetooth dongle. This isn't needed, and is also like double the price of the dongle I have.
Cross-play for Private Competitive VS, awesome! Now I just need to hear that I can rebind all controller buttons on PC in the kb/mouse bindings section of options, rather than be restricted to a few controller presets.
A great IP, wasted on a musou.
Yea, it really pisses me off that Daily Targets is just now releasing. So now we're like a million years behind on all this content, that you could only earn the majority of FM for through the Hard and Extreme Survivals, which was nearly impossible for even pro players.
The Fighter Profile tabs being all greyed out up till now is just a complete joke. It's even stupider, because they had the stats for the strength tab completely working in like the 2nd beta.
Well, it's to polish the game, it should only make it better. Though, I'm still not a fan of musous, including what I've seen of the combat here. I hate the stupid AI hordes that sit there waiting to be swiped through.
It ends at the end of Falcon of the Millennium Empire Arc, so you probably don't get to kill Griffith.
Heh, basically a cell-shaded Tenchu.
I want to get this on PC, the way UE was handled scares me though. UE came out just a few months ago on PC, and has already been dead for months on PC now. The Win10/DX12/Windows Store/UWP exclusivity could end up killing this game for competitive multiplayer, by leaving it with no playerbase, like UE. It does look fun, and I would love to play it, $60 is a lot to throw down for something that may die in a few months though.
Also, I am not sure the ability to fully bind con...
As long as it's truly optimized well on PC and not bugged out to hell, and has the ability to rebind ALL controller buttons in the kb/mouse bindings section - then I'll probably get it. It's a shame it's not going to Steam though, cuz now we still have to worry about the playerbase for competitive multiplayer disappearing within a few months on PC.
Yeah, been saying that, Team Ninja should have been on this. I do like the speed of Berserker Guts in combat, the transformation seemed messed up though. Also, the enemies in these musou games always look/animate stupid as hell. They rarely ever attack also, it's horrible AI all around in these games. I know they said the apostles will be harder, but I doubt they'll be as fun to fight as bosses in a game like Dark Souls. FromSoftware adores Berserk, with the insane amount of reference...
A friend of mine convinced me to try BF back when I was on PS3, and I got Bad Company 2. I decided to give it a shot since I respected the fact they weren't greedy bastards with paid MP map packs and in keeping them free, they were keeping the playerpool solid. Right after I get into BF, BF3 comes out and they do a 180 and turn into Activision/COD with the paid DLC at every corner and breaking up the community.
All the other games are learning. Shadowfall on PS4 came ou...
I made my build in April, 'n then switched the new GPU I got then for a 1070 when it released. If anything, all the talk of the Pro is what caused me to make the jump. I haven't touched my PS4 in months, and don't plan on renewing PS+, the subscription price increase just reassures me that I've made the right decision.
With so many PS4 console exclusives and all X1 exclusives coming to PC, it made the choice that much easier.
Yea, I was laughing at the irony of that too. I think the article with that title is still at the top of N4G.
