You're a weirdo. The Windows Store has been around for 5+ years and still can't get purchasing/downloading/install ing/updating/ownership rights done correctly. It is crossplay for most PvP modes, and now has a toggle for ranked so X1 players can opt-in/out. I rather not be reported by hostile X1 players in other modes that don't have the crossplay toggle though, because they're mad at TC for forcing them to play with us PC players. It'd also be more fun to be on an even playing field across the board, since it is a shooter. I use gamepad regardless, but it'd be alot more fun with a bigger PC playerbase.

I know MS did the same thing ALL last gen, just not even wanted to hear the discussion of cross-play at all, but goodness, that is a lame excuse Sony just gave. I had removed both of them and most/all other forced software, including Cortana. I ended up caving in to get Gears of War 4 though, and it actually runs smoothly. So, I need to keep the Windows Store and the Xbox App installed to play.
Hopefully it doesn't cause performance issues in games that require it. I'm not too fond of the Win 10 team. The Creator's Update caused Gears of War 4 to be choppy, Nvidia fixed it a bit with drivers, but the Win 10 team is pretty sub par. The Windows Store is still a nonfunctional piece of junk. I don't trust any major system updates from this team, and I'm sure GOW4 is gonna require this, so it better not degrade performance.

Crossplay isn't dumb in general, but for the type of title, I understand why he said it. Without crossplay, I wouldn't be able to play a game that he originated though, Gears of War 4. This is because Microsoft refuses to not lock it to the Windows Store for the PC version, even though they KNOW it means it'll always release DOA for PC.

Yeah, the fact it doesn't up the odds when someone has spend an insane amount is pretty bad. The system needs much work. I'd really just like to see The Coalition's actual drop rate odds for packs though, because they still seem bad compared to games like Overwatch.
Yea dude, it's still pretty bad. There's people that spent 200,000+ CR on that Raam pack, and didn't get Raam. LOL, rare or not, that's ridiculous. I finally got him and Savage Kantus at just under 70,000 CR, and only because I feel they slightly upped the odds the 2nd time the pack came around based off all the backlash.
