An American-Indian, or an American indian? The two are very different!

I feel like the trailer is just trying to convince me not to buy it, but advertising "bug-catching" and "fishing" like they're the major draw of the game. Really? Cheapass mini-games get higher billing than combat? Yikes.

A lot of people disagreeing the the generic premise... but the specific premise is pretty iffy, too. Blooborne really doesn't resemble Dark Souls all that much... urban setting, one-vs-many combat, firearms, a set protagonist (maybe), a stronger horror aesthetic, etc., etc.

Looks like you were 0/4. ~__~

Yeah, Tropical Freeze was fantastic. But still: I think we have enough 2D platformers to last a while now.

3D World had better music than NSMB, which was terrible, but both were a lot less interesting than the Galaxy games. It's not bad, per se--but generic. As in, "could fit any Mario game." Whereas Galaxy had really unique music.

So they'll be announcing new games outside of the E3 Direct?

Well... I guess that's good because it indicates the've got a lot to announce, but I have to say I'm a little disappointed. I liked last year being able to get all my important Nintendo E3 news in a single little video.

More interested in a new 3D Mario than anything else, barring Zelda, ATM. A new Mario Galaxy would be fantastic, especially if they could do similar music to the other Galaxy games instead of the super-generic stuff they've been using with the more recent titles.

I'm loving my WiiU and all, but it has seriously TOO MANY 2D platformers. I know a lot of people are hoping for a Metroid Prime style game, but I personally prefer the classic Super Metroid style... so I'...

Agree completely. When I first started playing, I kept thinking, "Is this one going to be my favourite track in the game?" but 10 tracks in I started thinking "Is this one going to be a bad track?" at each new track.

So well designed. Even the really simple SNES-remade tracks are fun and interesting.

I'm really glad most people don't post their random, rambling gaming youtube videos on N4G. It helps cut down on the clutter.

I have a feeling most of the E3 news will be a regurgitation of last year's E3, considering the biggest titles discussed last year still haven't released.

Sadly, my most anticipated games for E3 are the least interesting--Samurai Warriors 4 and Zelda Musou.

I imagine DOS will make an appearance, but since it's releasing at the end of the month and I've had beta access since December, I'm not anticipating it that much.

I guess there's Xillia 2? Too bad FFXV won't make an appearance.

....

Really, though, the main things I'm hoping to see are just new annou...

And again, that word doesn't mean what you think it means.

You mean, "implied," not "inferred."

And no, it wasn't.

I just got Kirby Triple Deluxe for $29.
Also noticed Killzone Shadowfall is about half off on Amazon, which I didn't see in the sales pages.

You're using those words, but you don't seem to know what they mean. You're thinking of "open beta," where a beta build of a game is made available to a portion of the public for open testing.

All games NEED beta development. Or, rather, they have to have beta development in order to actually be games. Quick-and-handy guide for ya':

Pre-Alpha: missing core features
Alpha: core features implemented
Beta: all features i...

Hopefully the delay will result in a better optimized game than Witcher 2. I'd much rather play it on my PC than my PS4.

Wonder if they'll ever do something like Sony where they'll have a mobile storefront with a few games for android/iOS that can also be accessed/played on the handheld.

Isn't it just, "wake up, watch the 45-minute E3 Direct, and be done"?

Not sure how I feel about a new Tomb Raider. What made the last game so good was it's reboot-y nature--that Lara was essentially a normal person having to struggle in a hostile environment.

Not sure I'd enjoy the game so much if she's back to 'superhero mode.'

I would eat your hat, too, if that happened.

To "turn it around" wouldn't they have had to have been going in the right direction at some point? All SE has ever done is mooch off the brand-recognition of old Square and Enix IPs.
