That's the absolute worst thing that could happen to the franchise. The only reason we've gotten ANY Dragon Quest after Dragon Quest IV DS in English is because NINTENDO localized it for us.
Taking the games away from Nintendo platforms is essentially the same thing as denying the games to the West.
There's some wonky stuff on that list.
Both Tales Of games are listed as having a price increase... but the prices listed for their original price points are incorrect.
And $20 for DW8XLCE is astonishing. I don't think I've ever seen a musou game discounted that much so soon after release. Of course, until they fix the DoF it's not worth playing, let alone buying.
I like how Nintendo is only just now begining to consider making a unified platform in the future, while at the same time Sony has completely moved away from their unified platforms.
Strictly speaking, an alternate timeline Gohan is NOT Gohan. If it's a timeline where the saiyajin planet was never destroyed, he WOULD need the scouter because the skill to sense power levels was learned... by everyone... on Earth.
Yeah. Future Gohan also didn't go Super Saiyajin until the day he died. So it's not "the" Future Gohan, but from the character design it's pretty clear that he's "a" Future Gohan.
From the scouter, I imagine he's from a timeline where Freeza never destroyed the Saiyajin planet.
I was really hoping for DLC.
I wanted new courses/cups.
I would have settled for new kart components.
This is the absolute antithesis of what I wanted.
Or he's a new character from a future timeline. Looking like Gohan doesn't really mean all that much, considering Goten looks like Goku. Maybe it's Goten's kid?
It's a big list, but I'd hardly call it amazing. I see 2 games I'm excited about, and 2 more I'm vaguely interested in.
Maybe it just looks amazing in comparison to the paltry offerings on the other new consoles?
It's out in August in NA, right? Really looking forward to it. More for its EO side than its Persona side, if I'm completely honest. Sadly none of the trailers or screens I've seen show off the bottom screen.
As for the DLC, I don't really see the point in buying new Personas. Those things are a-dime-a-dozen in SMT games.
As long as VR requires headgear, I don't want anything to do with it.
If you like to think you hit a nerve, feel free. Honestly I can't tell if I have any emotional response, aside from some very minor bafflement at your terrible reading comprehension skills.
Anyone who has spent any time in the gaming community is very well familiar with the "no games" meme.
Honestly, you're the first person I've met since 2006 or so who didn't realize that the qualifier "good" was implicit.
...
LMFAO, anyone older than 10 should be able to recognize the difference between an objective and subjective statement without having it explicitly spelled out for them.
If you can't figure out the difference between an opinion and a fact, you are--almost literally--too goddamn stupid to live.
Really? To... what, then? Shooters? 3D action-adventure? I've only ever played the old Megaman games on the SNES.
Yeah, no, the PS4 doesn't have any games.
I say this because I'm an adult gamer. I own multiple platforms. And the PS4 doesn't have a single great exclusive title IMHO. Let alone "plenty."
Well, in that case I would argue that the revisions/review process was inadequate.
Even though it's an essay, it's essentially a journalistic essay. That means brevity is the rule of the day. Given how prolific games writing is, you're not liable to find many people willing to read through something that is "overwritten." You need to be concise.
I realize my criticisms have been very general and that's really the worst sort of critic...
I wouldn't care. Nintendo has enough 2D platformers.
And are new Megaman games really that exciting for anyone? Isn't Might no.9 where all the love should be?
You mean 2006.
And it was a garbage engine in 2006. Even high-end machines today can have trouble getting NWN2 to play properly.
I imagine it'd be a real pain-in-the ass porting Witcher 1 to any platform. The Aurora engine is garbage. It's astonishing CDR was able to do as much with it as they did.
The author can do a lot better simply by excising a lot of the meaningless words and sentences that clutter up the essay.
Revision is often more important than the initial writing process.
Square-Enix didn't exist when they were on Playstation.
