...And you've missed my point entirely.
I'm talking about the cliche of the human SPECIES being instrumental in the salvation of existence.
It's tired as hell, and the "twist" in ME2's ending made it look like that's EXACTLY the route we're taking.
10. A story that doesn't fall back on that awful, awful cliche of humanity being the super-bestestest-species in the whole wide universe.
The PS3 needs to beat... the 360? Really? Shouldn't it be the other way around? Are there ~any~ 360 games coming out in the next year worth mentioning? In the past year?
Naoto wasn't transgender at all. She just dressed like a boy because of her interests. Had nothing to do with sexuality. There's a word for girls like her: tomboy. It has nothing to do with transexuality.
As for Erica... I'm not sure what that's called. Transexual, right? Yeah, she/he's transgender. But as for seeing something deeper about the depiction than, "oh, hey, it's a girl with a penis," there's nothing to see in Catherine. The ga...
This might excite me.
If I cared one whit about Wii U.
Or if I thought DQIX was a better game than it was.
If it comes to NA, I'll buy it on for my wii.
$0.99 is a fairly GOOD price, actually. It's the $2.99 pricing that's really bad. Think of it this way: DBZ has nine seasons. You can probably get one boxset for about $20. That's $180, total. Roughly $200 with sales tax. Buy 'em all digital, it's closer to $300.
So, yeah, you'd be paying $100 more... but look at some of the other shows they've got there. Most 24 episode shows sell for like $3 an episode--that's $75 for a whole series--when DVD...
Gotta love how fanboys ALWAYS point to financial data instead of, you know, more qualitative statements.
Guess what? If you've ever pointed at sales data in an argument about gaming, you are NOT a gamer.
lol, no.
It's a musou crossover game.
Think a typical musou game with fewer characters, fewer maps, and an even LESS coherent narrative.
It's for Diehard fanboys only.
Fine, ephebophilia.
It's still sexual deviancy of the "illegal" variety.
Better late--very, very late--than never.
Here's hoping they can continue to build on the very, very good foundations on the past few games.
I just hope they don't have another contrived ending where the MC "disappears" to parallel the player "leaving" the game world. Easily the only aspect of 3 and 4 that I genuinely disliked.
Pedophilia usually is.
Large animals. It traditionally refers to the "big 5" in Africa--lions, elephants, water buffalo, rhino and leapord, iirc.
The bigger question is this: which is the more shameful title for a gamer to own--a Cabela's hunting game, a (any) Madden game, or more than 2 or more Call of Duties?
I respectfully disagree. It's composed entirely of new games, aside from two token "twists" from two of the largest Nintendo franchises. There's a lot missing from, you know, that whole pre-Xbox era.
Sarevok is your brother. Think that's ****ed up? Guess who your pappy is.
The whole nature of the dual worlds in Dragon Quest VI. Holy **** that was awesome.
The nature of the "gods" in Okami. Wow.
...
Not really. Bethesda uses the 360 as the "base" platform because their games are hugely popular on the PC, as well as the 360/PS3, and it's easier to keep the game stable while porting from 360 to PC than PC or 360 to PS3.
Bethesda is NOT known for being particularly competent when it comes to making stable games. Of course they're not going to focus much on the PS3--as horridly unstable and nearly unplayable as some of their games have been in the past, the...
Ooh, awesome. I found the game really fun (love the ship customization) but don't have the time to dedicate each month to an MMO at $16 a month. Gotta re-install this as soon as they make the move.
GREAT NEWS!
And no, I don't feel any empathy for the schmucks who shelled out $300 for a lifetime membership.
Tales of Xilia? Looks awesome. Looks like the best Tales of Game to date.
So why link it to drivel like Star Driver?
Except it's buggy, Valve has awful customer support, and it's library of games is awful.
These kids think games Bioware's fare is the pinnacle of PC RPGs. They're too focused on herpderpnew to bother looking at the older games, despite the fact that, at least so far as this genre is concerned, the quality has dropped a LOT in recent years.
It's a rebranding. It's common with companies after recieving a big PR hit. This is a move to get "away" from the Playstation Network Hacking fiasco.
See:
"Philip Morris" (famous tobacco company) became "Altria."
"AIG," (labelled by the US congress as "too big to fail"--one of the chief factors in the current economic crisi) became "Sagepoint Financial" (and "VALIC"...
I've heard some people say that they're still just as bad.
Won't know for ourselves without playing.
