We're inching our way to 2.0, which will give us partial PS1 support for the PSN's partial library.

Huzzah?
Personally, while I know a lot of PC gamers didn't care for it, I found Skryims UI to be, well, incredibly well designed. Easily the most impressive part of the game.
Well, outside the stunning environmental design.
The problem was the rest of the game didn't show the same level of quality. From some really awful linear quests that shoehorned the player into specific roles, to the fact that you could recieve 10 quests walking 10 feet--which, while not...
$100 USD says this game gets released in all 3 major regions (NA/EU/AS) before Final Fantasy Versus XIII gets released in 1.
Out of pre-production? How out of character. Sounds like they're taking their time with the game.
But, when all is said and done, even if DA3 is the -best- game ever, even if it's better than Shadow of ****ing Amn... I'd still have rather hand an ME3 that didn't suck ass.
By definition, more games will be bad than good. That's the nature of the thing.

Anyway, I count six 3DS games I'm interested in. Really, though, for me I'm seeing a lot more stuff I want to play on Vita, and very little on my 3DS. Obviously, I expect that to change... eventually. But apparently it ain't gonna happen this year.
Oh, well, maybe we'll get lucky and see a new Zelda next summer. Megaten 4 should be localiz...
A modern star trek game is likely to be bad.
Anything JJverse is likely to be bad.
So I'm not very hopeful.
I'd love to be surprised, though.
Then again, lore-wise the Gorn were a teeny tiny little nation of no threat to anyone, and weren't particularly aggressive. And Trek-wise the gorn are only famous at all for being the stars of the cheesiest, hammiest bit of television in human history.
So... interesting choic...
The good: the gaming media was able to accumulate a great deal of money through various articles dealing with E3, creating, perpetuating and analyzing the hype.
The bad: there was a boring trade show where nothing of substance happened somewhere in 'murika.
The ugly: all of the idiotic consumers who fawn over E3 every goddamn year expecting it to be awesome and feeding this bonanza of bullshit.
Thank you for helping to help curtail these hitbaiting non-stories.
To those that disagreed with you, I can only say this... that cancer killing gaming... it's you.
Without pointless, trite drivel, the gaming media--and, by extension, N4G--would not exist.
@snake-OO: that just make's 'em indefinite/unlimited rentals. It's a (very) nice deal, don't get me wrong, but they're not free games--they're gone the moment you stop paying that PS+ subscription.
Technically speaking, they're not free, they're rentals.
Step 1: Buy Diablo III.
Step 2: Use the RMAH.
Step 3: Retire.
Geh.
I wonder what this means for us. Originally it was supposed to be a PSN title available... this July, I think. So... a delay? Not cool.
Oh well, at least we're getting it, in spite of WotS' niche nature.
Seems kind of weird to think that such a niche game could get released overseas so frequently like this, whereas the far more popular Yakuza series has a (better) game set in the same era with, arguably, more demand for an overse...
I think it's worth pointing out that we NEVER get reliable info this far in advance, and we NEVER know everything that's going to be added to the store until it actually updates/the official blog post.
For example, we already know (for a fact) that next week will see additional (overpriced) Dragon's Dogman and Atelier Meruru DLC.
To be perfectly fair, Bethesda really hasn't done much to be thanked for in... the better part of a decade. They've got some great open-world engines--that they have no idea how to make games out of.
So, yeah, every few years they release a game that modders make decent.
But wouldn't it be better if they focused more on making the game engine perfect, and then sold the rights to it to other developers? Like when Obsidian made New Vegas.

You don't remember the infamous Game Day? On April 1st, 2013, Sony and Valve announced a new partnership: Half Life 3, Kingdom Hearts 3, Last Guardian, Dark Souls, and a half dozen other games were simultaneously released on the PSN and Steam.
It was glorious.
S-E was super-nice, and went ahead and offered moderately-priced HD ports of all their old titles on Steam.
I'd have to vote for E3 2013, which saw announcements for Star Trek Armada 3, Star Wars Empire at War 2, Freespace 3, Civilization VI, Mechwarrior 5, Legacy of Kain: Finale, Ghost Trick 2, and a new trailer for Final Fantasy Versus XIII with 85% old footage.
A few minor things sound good... for free DLC. Not sure this so-called "expansion" will be worth it unless it actually adds new terrain to explore.
Nothing to see here, folks. If you saw the trailer, you know EXACTLY as much about Dawnguard as IGN.
I agree: Gravity rush is an /awful/ puzzle game.
