I wouldn't go that far. It's a very fun game with a great UI (a rarity in strategy games these days) but it's a bit... shallow in my opinion.

Or at least it did in the last build I played. There've been like a half dozen updates since then.

The biggest mark in ES' favor is the fact that the developers are really and truly listening to their customers.

And the biggest mark against it is its title's similarity to that ot...

It's not trolling if it's true, genius. The Vita has all of ZERO releases in July. If your twisted mind can somehow contort that fact into a GOOD thing, you, sir, are a -profoundly- deluded fanboy.

Let's wrap up July, too, while we're at it: NO GAMES.

There's a reason for that. Of their franchises, Mario is really the -only- one that appeals to casual gamers. And in terms of total gaming franchises, period, nothing out there even comes close to Mario's appeal.

Nintendo's very existence is dependent on Mario. Of course they're going to take advantage of him.

I wonder where they'll sell it. Typical pricing for these ports is, what, $40 USD for the disc, but only $10 or $15 per game from the PSN, right? With only one game in the port, what will that mean?

Of course it's enough. Nintendo still hasn't really figured out how to do digital distribution. Unless you download every little thing out of the eShop, 2 gigs is more than enough for the handful of games worth buying.

It matters a great deal more than the opinion of someone who belittles the opinions of others.

Nice. Shame the NA/EU Vita library is so far behind Japan's. It'd go a long way to curtail all that prepubescent trolling.

They're accurate. It just looks blurry because they enlarged cropped screens for the comparisons. The only real (full screen) comparison images are the very last two.

Mario and Peach? Really? They're the biggest NTR couple in gaming history.

Remember that White Engine/Crystal Tools engine Square-Enix made, so that they could use the same engine to develop multiple games and reduce development time?

Does anyone really expect this new engine to be used in more than 2 games sometime around 2020?

Seems to me you're the one getting confused by this whole "possession" concept.

lol, so now they're screwing PSP gamers after screwing PS3 gamers? Nice.

Love the games, but the guys producing 'em are real jackasses.

Except I didn't judge the game at all.

Your reading comprehension skills need some work, pal.

Right, but that's because you're looking at the JRPG genre as a whole. You should be looking at Studio Ghibli protagonists. They're much more able (and willing) to present children realistically.

Sounds disappointing. No mention of new areas indicates that there is NOT going to be much in the way of new areas to explore.

And as cool as the vampire stuff is, the downside is too great. If you have to ally with this dude to get those abilities, that means you have to help him "win," which means succeeding in blotting out the sun.

Which means playing a Skyrim with no daylight.

Ulgh. Count me out.

IV also got the sprite overhaul, with FF4C, right?

Personally, I prefer sprites. 2D art ages a LOT better than 3D art. Just look at the FANTASTIC new sprite work that was done for the DS remakes of Dragon Quest 4, 5 and 6. Absolutely beautiful.

I've been -very- impressed by, well, almost all the Naruto games I've played. Haven't touched any OP games, though, having only recently gotten "into" the series.

I've heard that the "Adventure" games are the best. And I've also heard that the 3DS games that are never going to get localized in NA are the best. So who knows.

Personally, the OP game that seems the most promising to me is Pirate Warriors. Musou = solid gam...

I generally don't care for protagonists so young. Mostly just from a visual perspective--I don't like my "avatar" in games to be half the size of everyone else.

Because, let's face it, even in RPGs where children actually exist, they're pretty damn rare and rarely factor into the plot, at all.

From a narrative perspective, however, I'm quite looking forward to it. Studio Ghibli has a VERY strong track-record with very young heroe...

Games present overidealized versions of both sexes. I mean, goddamn, have you played Call of Duty? There's so much testosterone in all of those "characters" you may as well be watching a bunch of sweaty mean in a bathhouse grunting as the smack each other on their ripe, glistening buttocks. Buttockses. Bottoxes?

How often do you see an ugly male protagonist, eh? Or an unpopular one? No, they're all the "cool idealized male archetpye." It's the ...
