I remember when they apple tried to force ms to remove their "PC finder" ads from T.V. And when market studies showed the the PC character was more east to relate to then the mac guy. And all the advertising apple had spent on their own shoddy products, like the original ipods.
Apple and co are such hypocrites.
The reason that many homosexual people act the way they do is because of gay culture.
During the 70-80's homosexuality was such a taboo subject that certain codes (for a lack of a better term) were developed to display ones sexuality, the flamboyance came out of necessity. The only way a person would be able to know if another person was gay was to act in a certain fashion which only other homosexuals would know about. That culture still lingers on, hence why many people...
"would you xbots fuck off and play some games or something? You know, use your console for its purpose.
All you talk about is sales sales sales. Jesus Christ you bots are annoying."
seems pretty angry to me.
Hope it provides some good funding for bungie's future project.
Good developers deserve our cash.
He's like an angry douche version of Peter Molenyoux (or w/e).
All he does is talk about how awesome he is, and the games he made are.
the guy that swears non stop every time I've heard him talk has an issue playing as taliban? Does he have problems playing as nazi's and russians and koreans and charlies, an americans(guess what, I'm sure the taliban can't stand playing as you)?
what a douche.
new orleans would be an interesting stop.
It'd be an interesting way to introduce a "european" connection with all the french influence.
mario brothers, legend of zelda...
The tech behind kinect is cloud base, as they refine the search algorithms and how the manage the data which kinect uses, and the data grows, the technology will improve.
Like how a search engine gets better the more use it gets.
Edit: Kinect works by checking the players position based on coordinates of key body parts, those positions are then matched to the trillions of possible body positions available, that set of data then allows for the prediction of t...
Bungie will retain ownership of the IP after the 10 year contract, so unless Activision has sold bungie the COD franchise, it's going to be a new IP.
all he's talking about is a persistent game world. While MMO's are the best examples, even regular RPGS and sim games feature persistent worlds.
Fable for example allows money to continue to build up, even if you're not playing the game, and games like animal crossing also feature persistent worlds, with events occurring year round, whether or not you play.
Spending money on games like Limbo and supporting indie developers?
If you're going to go to a website and post on a forum recommending a game, then do it legit. Urk, dreamcrusher, shiska, che all frequent the neogaf forums, but they're known members of bungie/343, not pretending to be some fanboy.
I tend to think that wii games, nintendo wii games specifically, get a lot of free passes that other games suffer with.
Take mario galaxy, it gets a free ride on it's story, yet even games like modnation racers got docked points from review sites like GT for it's story. Same goes for the overall lack of multiplayer in the game. If a game like halo was to be released where the only multiplayer was some form of 2nd player help system, reviews would be all over it.
Considering in the last year they bought 2 studios and started up 2 studios I think it's not as doom and gloom as people think.
Big park, linden labs, spawnpoint and firebird studios are all recent new editions.
I think a lot of people are mixing up what microsfts vision with second life is. It's not designed to compete with home, but with social networking and 'web 3.0'. proper intergration of sl with xbox live could allow ms to penetrate social gaming market, and compete with games like farmville.
Not to mention sl has the possibilty to be quite a money cow.
The shadows on the tree's in GT doesn't seem to effect the cars, and the road in GT looks like it's not even textured. The car also looks like it's riding on springs, it's a bobble head bouncing all over the place, a real car would have stiffer suspension and strong downforce, specially at those speeds so I don't see why it's bouncing around like that.
That said the GT car's and lighting look better, and the interior I think looks better.
And who better to get support from than blizzard?
Bungie could've gone with anyone, so activision obviously had to offer something other then just cash to get the IP, the only other thing activision has is Blizzard, who better to get support from? I don't think there's any other developer who could help bungie in this position, blizzard probably has the best insight on server back end and the overall production pipeline of an MMO.
off camera usually looks better then a direct feed.
If I couldn't tell the difference with the huds, I wouldn't know which is which. Both are very impressive.
In reality a game that comes out for PC, ps3, 360, but not wii is still exclusive.
Think about it like a club, an exclusive club that allows both members and guests of members is still exclusive, even though more then 1 type of person is going to it.
