From what I hear autodesk 3dsm and xsi seem to the most popular tools for modeling then animation.
Honestly, I don't understand why anyone would want to try and kill WoW, or halo, or any other game.
I think KOR will be one of the first MMO's since WoW that will review up there in the same range as bioware's other games. A great game is a great game, it doesn't need to try and kill anything. I hope the game sells, only because I think bioware is a great dev and deserves all the support it can.
i didn't think you subscribed to that particular fanboy newsletter.
for a franchise that's getting boring, there sure are a lot of people still playing it daily.
I can't think of any other franchise that's added as many new features and content in the few iterations as halo has, and that to me is the very opposite of boring.
In halo 3 we got both forge and theater modes, allowing for some of the most unique fps experiences I've played in ages. How many other fps games have spawned a sport genre(grifball) or ka...
whoops wrong reply.
but nice trolling attempt there.
Sage, the sandbox director at bungie was also a lead on the crimson skies game for the original xbox. And trust me, that game already made warhawk look last gen.
The new firefight options alone have been making me drool (for the full list of options check out the bungie update http://www.bungie.net/News/... it's like lbp for halo). Throw in dog-fighting in space and I was sold. Definitely my game of e3.
pretty much anyone on this list should be included

I'd also say jason jones.
hence why it's never been pushed by developers.
I loved too human, and I'm praying for a sequel. the game was a beast, the best duegeon crawler I ever played on a console IMO.
left handed link was they he was meant to be.
All I'm saying is that there are a lot of Nintendo fans who disagree with the businesses direction, and they have all the fodder and to validate their opinion.
To call them stupid because they no longer like nintendo, or never liked nintendo is unneccessery.
you see just as many master cheif and marcus creations.
And just as many kratos mii's and avatars, and cloud/sepherioth, and etc.
Attacking people because of their tastes is foolish. Many people feel abandoned by nintendo, especially people who bought the wii day one and got next to nothing for the first 6 months.
That was my absolutely most hated thing about KZ2.
I tried it out on the dolphin emulator in 720p and the game looks just stunning.

I understand what they're trying to do with SS, but for some reason I just find it... bland, like it has an identity crysis. That's not to say everything is bad. I like a...
I'd buy it.
I prefer both windwaker and TP over SS.
I'd love to play a game at 3200X1800 but downsample to 1920x1200 the IQ would be insane.
edit.

link to what games look like downsampled/supersampled.
Sage, the sandbox director for reach, was a lead on crimson skies:high road to revenge. If you've never played it I definitely recommend picking it up, it's the best arcade dogfight sim of last gen( http://xbox.ign.com/objects... ). The controls are spot on and it plays beautifully, everything I saw seems to imply that reach will be using similar scheme, including all the moves.
It's just one person's opinion. He works for one of the COD teams.
The article itself is actually pretty valid, and the he talks about the struggle of pushing a franchise further without loosing it's core identity, and at the same time finding a way to innovate without completely changing the game.
another sequel or remake.
(also, EA owns the system shock ip, so that's a lost hope)
as for my guesses. It's either going to a be a relatively well known title or something pretty obscure.
Something like tex murphy, or something like the darkness.
