however I'm not going to lambaste ign for their review, they give adequate reasons and the largest one seems to be that PD wanted to focus on quantity of cars and not the quantity of options for what you do with them.
The lack of an real career mode or the ambiguous challenge mode seems to be the largest factor.
Looking at other reviews it looks like it's a love-hate type game.
that thing looks absolutely stunning. If we ever decide to make a museum to the monuments of human aesthetics it'll consist of apple laptops and the zune.
When i read his blog I get the feeling that he truly loves making games, but he's not arrogant like david gaffe, peter molenuex, kojima or denis dyak.
On a price to performance value I think the zune has the ipod beat. However there's more user confidence in the touch and many people already have an understanding of itunes.
Id recommend the zune because it has HD video out and similar web abilities, is cheaper and comes with satellite radio. I also think the batter life is more impressive.

Hopefully the tegra platform performs better then expected.
didn't fallout 3 and l4d2 recieve most of the goty awards. I think fable also got one from xplay.
specially if they give natal cross platform utility (ie pc and 360 can both use natal). It might be a good way for MS to reel in PC gamers and if natal does become popular they could easily develop a strong PC to 360 compatible communities, since they'd have the same input methods.
Heck, natal could even spur live/games for windows again if marketed properly.
PS microsoft, work with second life and help them develop natal controls, it'd make for a great tech demo, an...
I think there are much better ones out there, like for my original xbox I used a lan system that allowed me to play halo CE against pc opponents. I got my ass handed to to me, but that was still better then not being able to do anything since live wasn't around yet.
I also think that psp and ps3 support is top notch, and nintendo usually develops some useless peripheral that lets people play Game boy games on their TV.
That said, if they get some APB cossplay, and s...
That keep saying sony is the best at everything, and that sony's doing everything right, and that sony has the strongest, easiest, most powerful, or largest things.
Honestly, all these sony sites make it seem like sony is the high school jock who's got to prove to everyone how manly he is, but then goes home and puts on lipstick.
Think of it like a firmware update on the ps3 or live update on 360, however everyone owns a different card so you have to do it manually to get the right driver.
using an xbl gamer tag you made during a sleep over at your friends house is not proof you own a 360, or care at all about gaming on a 360.
It looks fun.
1. it engages the core gamer, and involves them into the brand.
2. it sends the message that core gamers are just like casuals, and want crappy clothing for their avatars too.
3. it makes casual gamers feel less stupid for wanting the clothing.
And it cost next to nothing for them to produce.
gg msoft, gg.
1. It'd be nearly impossible for sega to recoupe the copyright and publishing rights for the games they're already released on other consoles. And if they do it'd be a finical and legal nightmare.
2. Sega's brand awareness is now more closely tied with games available on all consoles and not exclusive.
3. Their games rarely sell to a high enough standard as is and it'd be difficult to re-gain a foothold based on their current library without a lot of time and monetar...
however there have been mixed reports on whether the console will hit other system and has never officially been confirmed for any other platforms.
Anyways, I'm excited for this game if it's a adventure and not action oriented.
but it is mentioned in the article.
the company behind the zcam were recently purchased by MS to help with development of natal and to avoid any patent infringements that might occur.
It's very likely that the technology from zcam will be integrated into natal. The question is, is there a correlation between the accuracy and speed of the tech and the cost to manufacture it, because that will be the main reason that natal will fail. Either it's not precise enough, or ...
However I think that the technology in the zcam and natal could provide major benefits to other fields like computer human interaction and rehabilitation.
If they create a single game using either natal or the eyetoy that features 1-1 head tracking I will likely buy it. Specially if they create an FPS or racing game, the immersion would be a huge step towards fabled 3d/holographic gaming. Combine it with a large flexible oled display and it'd be the perfect combination imo.
why do I constantly see you posting in threads that have no relation to your console of choice. You're as bad as niasm or w/e.
I think these new changes are because of the advent of the xengine and microsoft's dx11 features they're introducing. Like tesselation and memexport.
getting something like DMC, metal gear solid, or Final fantasy is worth more then 6 or 7 no name exclusives. IN MY OPINION.
also 2 of those games on the 360 list were never exclusive, they were released before the ps3 was launched.
However MS seems to be duping people into thinking timed exclusives like bioshock(?), eternal sonata, stare-ocean etc are 'exclusives' which to me is a very underhanded tactic.
