And why does assassins creed sell so well? If americans only like fps games, then brits only like racing games, and one could argue that fps games require more tactics, reflexes, precision and co-operation/teamwork.

Arcade + natal for $250, pro $199, elite $300. Or they might even try and get Pro+natal $250, arcade $175, elite + natal $325. Throw in a redesign (unlikely), and some quality exclusives, which the 360 has a tonne lined up, and it'll sell just fine.
Initial support is there, whether or not support continues for the device is another thing.

ODST was a full game, but people who played halo 3 only for the online didn't see the value. Just like people who didn't buy prologue didn't see the value, even though it was marketed as a bargain title.

even prologue and the psp version were bundled.
head tracking can allow you to do 3d on any tv without glasses that could cause strain to the viewers eyes.
it can also provide a convincing 3d sensation and wouldn't require as much additional programming.

beacause, I've heard robie back say that some games will be natal only, and some will use natal to enhance the games that use a basic controller.
And master-chief has cortana providing him with a proper reticule on his hud, so there's no need to aim down any sights.
I might be the only one who thinks this, but what type of super soldier are you if you can't sprint, all the time, and if you constantly have to look down the sights of you gun.

Sony formats are the one thing sony doesn't have a good track record with. In the last 15 years, some 8 - 10 of their proprietary formats failed against the competition, such as dvd's, cd, vhs etc.
