And it looks stunning, I believe this was originally a tech-demo for the engine used in stalker, and it seems to have all of the improvements and then some.

so did the fanboy who's been using the xibot alias, even though he's deeply confused.
There was both a gt3 a spec bundle and a gt4 slim bundle which drove sales. same goes for the gt5P bundle.
I bet that the stand alone copies of the game haven't sold nearly as well as people are trying to make it seem.
He made a video, which is 2d, of a game which is '3d'. Does he not see the problem here?
Real-life is 3d, if cameras could record in 3d then:
1. we wouldn't need special displays.
2. we wouldn't need 3d lenses.
3. we wouldn't need special cameras.
journalism at it's finest.
It seems that by removing the original cpu counterpart inside natal, they can actually provide updates for natal that can reduce the latency issues.

Natal works off of artificial intelligence that has the recordings of trillions of positions of the users body, natal then works almost like a search engine, determining what e...

not to mention new features/games for live, like games room, joyride, 1 vs 100, perfect dark HD.
and all the awesome multiplatform titles hitting both consoles.
who knows, we might even be surprised by some sleeper hits like metro 2033.
and there's bound to be some killer announcements at tgs/e3.
A regular controller works through an interrupt, take a keyboard for example, the actions are instantaneous, they work at the speed of electricity, same goes for buttons on a controller. Developers then decide what those actions equal in the game. Pull the back trigger, fires the gun.
Natal strictly calculates the body's actions. That takes enough processing power on it's own. After that it sends that information to the 360 so that developers can create a control scheme. Say for ...
you mean the current one? or the one with the wand/gem thing included? and if it's the latter is it that the calculations on the motion controllers, eye itself etc?
edit, oh so it's at a low resolution it runs at that fps. That doesn't seem so precise.
If i understand correctly, all natal does is calculate the users actions at 30 times every second, then that information would be sent to the console for use in the game, the game would take those calculations from natal to use for whatever the purpose serves. I'm wondering how big a hit there is in sending that information to the console, and if calculations on the information reduces the fps even more.
then it sends that captured information to the 360, where developers can use it to calculate whatever they need. If that is the case then then all player actions should be calculated at ~30 fps.
well a game like halo runs at 30 fps, doesn't mean the controls are laggy. =/
but is that before or after you begin applying it to game calculations to it?
Lets say you're playing a sport game, and it has to calculate the force at which you're swinging a bat, does that reduce the number of calculations natal is doing or not?
I do have to admit, the whole 3d thing they showed in the video was cool. I could imagine a mgs game telling you to look out behind the couch, and it actually reference the couch you're sitting on.
it's sad but it's true.
This only benefits people who want a cheap legal emulator, and people with friends who have money to burn.
but you're right, games like gran turismo sell well all over the world whether or not it's a 20 dollar demo.
durr I can stealth troll too.
the ps3 hasn't been outselling the 360, and people are disagreeing with you because of the false dichotomy your are insinuating.
It's very possible that the 360 and ps3 have been selling roughly the same amount world wide.
in 2007, they changed from manufactured units to sold units, as in sold to retail.
I own shares in sony, I can even tell you what they pay as a dividend, I ordered the 2007 finance reports for the games division, there are a lot of ps3 fanboys who claim it's sold to consumer, but that's IMPOSSIBLE to do, if they could, there'd be no use for ndp, famitsu, media create, etc.
brand identity sells more then whether the game is good or not.
Case and point
gundam
naruto
bleach
any popular anime
sonic vs mario
dynasty warrior
etc
all get great sales on games even if they suck.
and games such as final fantasy, kingdom hearts and dragon quest, would sell well no matter what, because of the developer, or project lead. Put kojima, sakaguchi, myamoto as working on the title and it will sell, p...
But I bet someone on my friend list will create a massive 'arcade' just to have friends hanging out with him in it.
the only nice thing is that it works on both pc and 360. so I guess if you a decent legal arcade emulator, you got it.
At east you can be guaranteed that they will listen to the user base. Bungie community managers are the best in the business, they constantly provide updates, support and a vast majority of features from stat tracking to screenshots and videos.
